Job Description

Paid Social Specialist

Remote Talent LATAM

• Build and execute full-funnel paid social strategies across Meta and TikTok, with a strong emphasis on efficient customer acquisition and conversion. • Own day-to-day management of high-budget campaigns ($80K+ monthly spend), including prospecting, retargeting, and Advantage+/Smart+ initiatives. • Develop audience segmentation, lookalikes, and interest/behavioral targeting; partner with creative teams to brief, test, and iterate on thumb-stopping social-native creative. • Creative Testing & Iteration: Design and run structured creative tests (hooks, formats, UGC, video vs. static) to improve CTR, CVR, and CPA, and continuously feed winning insights back into production. • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, build reports, and surface actionable insights to improve efficiency and scale. • Budget Management: Allocate and optimize budgets across platforms and campaigns to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and conversion volume. • Pixel & Conversion Tracking: Ensure robust tracking via the Meta Pixel/Conversions API and TikTok Pixel/Events API, and partner on attribution and measurement. • Platform Innovation: Stay on top of Meta and TikTok updates, automation features, and beta opportunities to drive competitive advantage. Expand into Pinterest and Reddit where they unlock incremental growth.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok in an agency or high growth environments.
  • Proven experience managing $80K+ monthly paid social budgets
  • Strong track record of driving performance against acquisition and conversion metrics (CPA, ROAS, CPL, CAC)
  • Deep understanding of Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager (campaign structure, audiences, Advantage+/Smart+, bidding strategies)
  • Experience with conversion tracking and server-side events (Meta Pixel & Conversions API, TikTok Pixel & Events API) and analytics platforms (GA4, etc.)
  • Strong creative instincts and experience partnering with creative teams to test and scale social-native ad creative
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Pinterest and/or Reddit advertising is a nice to have

Role Description The Senior Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for owning, executing, and optimising multi-channel performance marketing campaigns across The Hype Society’s client portfolio. This role is designed for a senior agency-trained marketer who is highly autonomous, performance-driven, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts while collaborating closely with Australian-based strategists and account leads. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with strategic input expected as accounts scale.
