Qualifications - Minimum 3+ years controls estimation experience, 8-10 years preferred. - B.S. Electrical Engineering or Trade School equivalent in PLC/Controls Engineering or Combination of Education and Experience equivalent. - Experience with performance management. - Knowledge of designing/commissioning/troubleshooting controls systems (i.e. Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Square D, etc.). - Knowledge of industrial controls networks (i.e. Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) is a plus. - Proficiency drafting electrical designs using AutoCAD. Requirements - Experience in following and executing multiple tasks, ability to keep track of multiple tasks and complete them all with updates and reports communicated where appropriate. - This position has direct reports and will manage 3rd party suppliers/vendors and employees working to provide development assistance on your assigned projects. - Will guide/direct electrical installers and collaborate with project and program managers. - Regular travel to KPI COEs (up to 25%) required as necessary. • Perform and lead system studies, including but not limited to protective device coordination and the following explorations: short circuit, arc flash, load flows, ampacity, grounding, harmonic, and power quality. • Design collection systems, including cable routing and cable sizing. • Create equipment specifications for and apply knowledge of renewable energy systems, including PV solar modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transformers, cable management systems, and balance-of-system (BOS). • Write reports and give presentations describing studies conducted, solutions developed, and value achieved. • Prepare project documentation. • Evaluate, select, and apply standard procedures and criteria. • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes. • Lead multiple projects of varying complexity. • Support client interaction for multiple projects. • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments with high proficiency and confidence. • Assist with proposals to provide professional services. • Assign tasks to and direct less experienced team members to complete assignments. • Provide mentoring for less experienced engineers. • Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines. • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.

• Conduct a comprehensive on-site assessment of all existing electronics installations within the KDCI office facility. • Prepare, draft, and finalize complete as-built plans for the following auxiliary systems: Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) CCTV and Surveillance Systems Access Control / Door Access Systems Structured Cabling Systems. • Facilitate required testing and acceptance procedures with third-party inspectors and regulatory authorities (e.g., BFP). • Issue certifications of safety, reliability, and conformity for all covered installations, where authorized. • Coordinate with accredited third-party inspectors to obtain certifications when direct signing authority does not apply.
