Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, patterns, modeling, and use cases;
- Experience with programming languages for maintaining data pipelines (Python, shell/bash) and file handling for that purpose, e.g., JSON, Parquet, CSV;
- Experience in consuming APIs, data cleaning, processing, deduplication, enrichment, and normalization;
- Experience with messaging infrastructure using Kafka and Debezium;
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster infrastructure such as EKS and AKS;
- Solid knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge of DBT;
- Experience with cloud computing projects (primarily AWS and/or Azure);
- Experience with Gitflow and version control;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform);
- Experience with distributed processing (Databricks/Spark);
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and Databricks Workflows;
- Knowledge of data architecture;
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines;

Role Description As a senior member of Tensordyne’s ASIC team, you will lead all phases of ASIC verification and will be responsible for the pre-silicon correctness of Tensordyne’s next-generation family of processors for generative AI inference acceleration. This ASIC’s design closely couples novel computational accelerator units with 3rd-party SoC IP blocks to deliver the high-performance multi-chip silicon solutions that are at the heart of Tensordyne’s vertically integrated, generative AI inference acceleration systems for data centers. - Work closely with design engineers to stay abreast of the specification and implementation of ASIC blocks. - Develop comprehensive test and coverage strategies. - Implement the verification environment and tests using object-oriented tools, particularly SystemVerilog and UVM. - Handle bug tracking and coverage convergence. - Develop scripts and methodologies for the front-end ASIC flow. - Ensure the pre-silicon correctness and quality of a multi-million gate ASIC that integrates computational accelerators and 3rd-party SoC IP blocks. - SoC/Subsystem verification of embedded CPUs such as ARM/RISC-V and interconnect subsystem (including C and assembly diag validation). - Lead verification planning from architecture through tapeout. - Develop block-level, sub-system and full-chip verification environment and tests to implement test plans. - Establish reusable verification methodologies and frameworks - scale testbenches to subsystem and full chip environments. - Work closely with design and architecture teams to understand the functional and performance goals of the design. - Triage and debug functional and performance issues with the design-under-test. - Drive verification signoff criteria and quality metrics - handle bug tracking, coverage convergence, regression failures. - Mentor and technically guide verification engineers helping them through test planning and verification closure. - Perform diagnostic and post-silicon validation tests in the lab. Role Description This position can be remote (work from home) but must live near a major airport with up to 50% overnight travel. The SKAE JLL Data Center Commissioning Group seeks an experienced Mechanical and Controls Commissioning Engineer to lead comprehensive commissioning for small, medium, and hyperscale data center projects ranging from 1MW to 100MW+. In this critical role, you'll drive technical excellence as both a hands-on mechanical commissioning engineer and strategic project leader, ensuring seamless integration of complex mechanical and controls systems in mission-critical environments where downtime is not an option. Your day-to-day tasks will include: - Developing detailed commissioning proposals and scope documents based on client RFPs, design drawings, and specifications while leading pre-commissioning planning sessions with stakeholders. - Managing and performing holistic factory and onsite commissioning activities (Level 0 – Level 6) for mechanical and control systems infrastructure. - Executing comprehensive commissioning of mission-critical systems including CRAH units, chilled water plants, central cooling plants, dry coolers, liquid cooling systems, advanced server rack containment strategies, and associated controls and monitoring systems. - Developing system-specific functional performance tests and integrated systems testing protocols that meet industry standards (ASHRAE Guideline 0 or similar). - Creating commissioning plans, test procedures, and comprehensive final reports while documenting deficiencies using structured tracking systems and overseeing resolution through substantial completion. - Directing cross-functional commissioning teams of 2-8+ engineers and technicians while coordinating with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle from design phase through transition to operations. - Conducting commissioning training for Owner's operations staff and providing knowledge transfer documentation on larger projects. - Managing commissioning schedules, ensuring optimal team utilization, identifying potential failure modes, and developing mitigation strategies. - Interpreting project drawings and specifications, identifying design issues, and communicating technical concerns effectively to clients and project teams. Qualifications - Minimum 7 years of documented experience leading hands-on data center commissioning activities with at least 5 years specifically in data center cooling systems and building monitoring and automation commissioning. - Proven track record leading mechanical and controls commissioning of facilities with power densities exceeding 25kW per rack. - Deep understanding of cooling plant sequences of operations, redundancy concepts, and their implementation in mission critical designs. - Experience working in partnership with major cooling equipment manufacturers (JCI, Daikin, Trane, Vertiv, Schneider, etc.). - Proficiency in commissioning management software platforms (CxAlloy, ACC, Procore, Bluebeam, and similar). - Advanced knowledge of commissioning processes for data center cooling infrastructure and building monitoring and controls platforms. - Expertise in precision HVAC systems, glycol cooling, and thermal management strategies including liquid cooling applications. - Strong understanding of BAS/DCIM integration, monitoring protocols, and alarm management protocols. - Ability to travel 50% annually throughout North America and work in active construction environments, climb ladders, and work in mechanical/electrical rooms with availability for occasional emergency commissioning support and weekend/evening critical testing activities.
