Role Description At Pearce, our OSP Engineers play a critical role in designing and maintaining the telecommunications infrastructure that keeps communities and businesses connected. As an OSP Engineer, you will support copper and fiber outside plant engineering projects by: - Developing designs - Managing project deliverables - Coordinating permitting activities - Ensuring construction readiness for a variety of network expansion and maintenance initiatives This role combines technical engineering expertise, field investigation, permitting coordination, and project management to support broadband expansion, network reliability, and customer growth. You will work closely with municipal agencies, utilities, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements. • Demonstrate leadership in safety and ensure compliance with and maintenance of HSSE requirements • Conduct field trials for new or reformulated Castrol industrial products and services • Serve as a subject-matter expert on industrial applications for internal and external stakeholders • Actively support the sales teams in developing new markets • Provide, in collaboration with sales teams, effective and timely solutions to customer issues (processes and product application) using structured problem-solving methods • Design and deliver high-quality technical training to internal and external customers • Document and share best practices through case studies demonstrating the benefits of Castrol solutions • Contribute to the company's overall objectives by participating in or leading projects related to industrial strategy • Mentor and train less experienced engineers and sales staff • Analyze used oil analysis reports and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making • Collaborate with global product managers to communicate local market needs and contribute to product developments • Represent Castrol in working groups, technical committees, associations, or with universities when required

Role Description We are currently looking for a GNC Engineer III/IV to join our software and flight test group in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in designing, analyzing, and building flight controls software for UAS. You will work closely with the engineering team to: - Design, analyze, and build flight controls software for groups 1 to 4 UAS - Develop software components for deployment to flight test - Create and modify software modules in the Zone 5 avionics suite - Perform controls analysis to assess stability and performance - Run high-fidelity SW and HW in the loop simulations - Generate auto-code for embedded systems - Design ground tests to verify the function of new features - Support integration and test of aircraft for flight test - Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in flight controls engineering for UAS - Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink - Strong problem-solving skills - Effective communication and collaboration skills Requirements - Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field (preferred) - Experience with Group 1-4 UAS flight controls software design (preferred) - Knowledge of embedded systems and auto-code generation (preferred) - Ability to mentor and train junior engineers (preferred) Benefits - Competitive total compensation package - Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more - 401k with company-match - 4 weeks of paid time off each year - 12 annual company holidays
