• Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, Engineering and Data & Analytics cases on the Databricks platform • Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert for our internal community of technical analytics consultants • Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery on projects in a consulting role • Create and deliver engaging technical and thought leadership content on the latest Databricks features and best practices • Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations of Databricks functionality & interoperability • Support channel and sales activities to provide architecture advisory for prospective clients and projects • Contribute to the growth of our partnership with Databricks in the UK as a technical leader
Job Requirements
- Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Strong consulting (7+ years), communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote & customer-facing setting
- Deep familiarity with Databricks features including AI, ML, Engineering and Analytics features
- 7+ years consulting (or equivalent) experience required
- 7+ years Databricks solution design, implementation, engineering experience required
- Either 5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala and/or Spark SQL OR 5+ years ML Engineering or AI Engineering deploying, promoting and serving ML models
- Hands-on, working experience with streaming + front end development experience
- Hands-on, working knowledge of Agent Ready Data architectures
- Hands-on, working knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features is required
- Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts & best practices is preferred
- Experience in terraform deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform highly desirable
- Any Databricks certificates are highly regarded
