Role Description As a Senior Sales Manager (Team Leader) – UAE, you will be responsible for leading a team of account executives, driving strategic regional growth, and fostering high-level relationships with premium system integrators, distributors, technology partners, and key end-users. Your key focus will be to orchestrate our go-to-market strategy, mentor the sales team, and scale Genetec’s market presence and strategic partnerships across the region. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and empower a team of regional account executives to meet and exceed regional sales targets and professional growth milestones. - Channel Strategy & Expansion: Architect and execute the sales channel strategy across the UAE, with a strong focus on guiding the team in hunting, acquiring, and onboarding tier-1 channel partners. - Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key business partners, including top-tier enterprise end users, strategic system integrators, and alliance partners. - Revenue & Pipeline Ownership: Drive regional revenue growth from all direct and indirect sales activities, overseeing high-value enterprise deals, software maintenance agreement renewals, and global/international key accounts. - Enablement & Readiness: Ensure the local team and channel partners are properly trained, enabled, and continuously aligned with new products, unified solutions, and go-to-market initiatives. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the marketing department to design high-impact vertical campaigns and support regional sales management in planning executive demand-generation activities. - Brand Evangelism: Represent Genetec as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, panels, and partner summits in the region. - Internal Liaison: Act as a strategic bridge between the local sales team, regional leadership, customer service, sales development, and global channel enablement teams. - Consultant & Planner Engagement: Oversee and cultivate the local network of security consultants, planners, and specifiers to ensure Genetec is specified in major regional tenders. Qualifications - Strong alignment with Genetec values, with a proven ability to lead with empathy, transparency, and high integrity. - Fluent English is mandatory. Arabic is a strong asset. - Higher education degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum 12+ years of experience in indirect international sales, with at least 5 years of proven experience leading and managing technical sales teams, preferably for a manufacturer. - Deep, established local UAE market experience and an active network within the region are essential. - Proven track record of scaling sales teams and developing complex channel networks in the IP physical security, VMS, or technical IT enterprise software sectors. - Combination of a strategic hunter mentality with a natural coaching instinct—proactive in identifying market shifts while empowering the team to crush targets. - Capable of challenging the status quo and executing strategic pivots whenever required by long-term company goals. - Highly structured, organized, and capable of maintaining team focus and composure in fast-paced, high-growth environments. - Exceptionally strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a resilient personality capable of managing complex stakeholder dynamics. - Strong business and sales instinct, paired with a balanced leadership style that emphasizes support, accountability, and team empowerment.
