Senior Account Manager – Home Counties, London
Stark & Son painting and decorating
• Managing a generous portfolio of clients, with annualised spend ranging from £5000 - £12,000. • Dealing with overall account values of circa £1 million annually • Nurturing your customer base which you will be targeted to retain and grow each quarter; along with the acquisition of new prospects that you will self-source. • Delivering growth sales from our full range of digital solutions (including agency products). • Actively identifying and acquiring new digital opportunities by developing advertising programs that meet clients’ needs and the Yell agency minimum spend thresholds. • Responsible for delivering your Growth target of high value new business by actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new digital opportunities within the market. • Selling Yell’s digital product portfolio at a high level to propose the right commercial model that will maximise revenue and meet the customer requirements. • Building long lasting relationships with your account base. • Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within the wider business, including DAD’s, KAD’s, customer service and the Yell agency.
Job Requirements
- A full UK driving license is required with no more than 6 points and access to a car
- Demonstrable experience in selling high value digital solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate a highly successful track record of digital sales performance
- A strategic thinker with a high understanding of digital marketing campaigns and technology.
- Resilient and disciplined with tenacity.
- Never afraid to ask for testimonials which supports their client dedicated ethos.
- Ability to demonstrate a highly effective personal development plan to continuously adapt to the digital market and keep in touch with what our competitors are doing.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex digital information clearly and concisely.

• Create, implement and manage profitable growth within the Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) dealer channel, focusing on new tire and retread sales. • Communicate area sales management strategies through regional channel (TSM/DM), Key Account Management (KAM) personnel and cross-functional areas. • Individually manage account strategy to support the overall Continental Tires the Americas (CTA) business units’ profitability targets. • Coach regional Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to interface with dealer and fleet accounts in their territories and ensure the individual customer strategies are adhered to and supported on a regional level. • Manage CRS dealer account(s), increasing Continental’s share of account by managing as a mini business to ensure profitable growth, through increased sales volume, improving price positioning, product mix, and managing both fixed and variable expenses. • Local sales prospecting in your defined area of responsibility through coordination with TSMs and KAMs. • Articulate the parameters the CRS dealer will stay within, so as not to weaken, Continental’s strategic vision. • Collectively manage the accounts pricing strategy and individually implement this strategy to your account’s locations.
