Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, payments, and account reconciliation. This role supports Beacon Mobility’s financial health by maintaining accurate records, resolving billing issues, and assisting with collections. - Billing & Invoicing - Prepare and send invoices and customer account statements. - Verify rates and terms are in line with customer contracts before invoicing. - Verify and post receipts from lockbox, ACH, and other payment channels. - Collections - Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts. - Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and arrange payment plans. - Own and manage end-to-end dunning process. - Account Maintenance - Maintain accurate AR files and records. - Update customer account information as needed. - Reporting & Compliance - Assist in preparing AR reports for management. - Support audits by providing documentation. - Collaboration - Work closely with finance and operations teams to resolve issues promptly. Qualifications - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 2+ years of AR or accounting experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). - Advanced Excel skills preferred; strong proficiency required. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. Requirements - Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
