Role Description The AdTech Engineering team owns the systems at the heart of Mediavine's business — the web wrapper that runs on every publisher site, our server-to-server (s2s) ad exchange, header bidding, A/B testing infrastructure, partner integrations, and privacy/consent tooling. The work is high-leverage and highly visible: changes you ship can move revenue across thousands of sites within hours. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. You'll lead projects end-to-end across our JavaScript/TypeScript wrapper and our Rust-based OpenRTB server, partner with Ad Operations, SRE, Data, and Product to ship measurable improvements, and mentor your peers along the way. What You'll Do - Lead and execute multiple concurrent projects across the AdTech stack — web wrapper features, OpenRTB server enhancements, SSP integrations, A/B test rollouts, and privacy/consent work — owning them from technical design through deployment and post-launch validation. - Act as a lead on initiatives spanning multiple teams: write technical design docs, drive review discussions, coordinate with Ad Operations and SRE, and keep stakeholders informed as the work progresses (especially when scope or timelines shift). - Contribute high-quality code that requires minimal correction in review across our JavaScript/TypeScript wrapper, our Rust s2s exchange, and the supporting tooling that surrounds them. - Design, ship, and analyze A/B experiments — translating revenue, viewability, and Core Web Vitals signals into actionable conclusions. - Build and maintain integrations with our SSP partners, diagnose integration issues end-to-end, and improve the efficiency of our supply paths. - Respond to production incidents — diagnose header bidding, GAM/MCM, or wrapper behavior with appropriate urgency, and follow up with durable fixes. - Effectively leverage modern AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and similar) to accelerate research, prototyping, code review, and debugging — and help the team raise its overall sophistication in their use. - Provide meaningful, critical feedback in code reviews and mentor peers through pairing, design conversations, and PR review. - Participate in sprint planning, scoping, and estimation, and contribute to team strategy beyond just the work in front of you. - Stay current on the ad tech ecosystem — Prebid evolutions, GAM and MCM changes, privacy regulations, identity solutions, and AI-driven supply trends. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in program management, product operations, delivery leadership, or related operational leadership roles. - Experience operating within fast-paced, founder-led, or executive-driven product organizations. - Strong understanding of software development workflows, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional product delivery processes. - Demonstrated success managing complex prioritization decisions, dependencies, and organizational tradeoffs. - Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across technical and business teams. - Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. - Strong analytical and operational problem-solving capabilities. - Experience building scalable operational processes and delivery frameworks. - Ability to thrive in fast-changing environments while maintaining focus and execution discipline.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications supporting VA healthcare modernization initiatives. • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos. • Develop and enhance applications integrating with legacy and modern healthcare systems. • Support modernization efforts involving legacy VistA/MUMPS-based environments and enterprise integration platforms. • Build scalable APIs, microservices, and application components using modern development frameworks and tools. • Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA teams, and infrastructure engineers to deliver secure and reliable solutions. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, and automated testing initiatives. • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges. • Develop technical documentation including user stories, technical specifications, code documentation, and release notes. • Ensure solutions align with federal cybersecurity, accessibility, and compliance requirements. • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on modernization, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Veeva Clinical Data Management Suite (CDMS), including Veeva Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Veeva Clinical Database (CDB) • Perform all activities related to eCRF design and EDC build programming for assigned projects • Perform EDC edit check programming for assigned projects based on edit check specifications for both simple and complex edit checks • Create test data to verify both screen design and edit check programming prior to deploying to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Set up test environments and coordinate project team members for execution of test scripts • Program and configure listings and reports using clinical reporting tools such as Veeva Clinical Database (CDB) • Ensure secure and high-integrity database imports from vendor transfers using Celerion data transfer standards • Assist with the validation of upgrades to hardware/ software including validation documentation development, review and execution. • Maintain global clinical trial database standards (CDISC)
