Recruitment Specialist

RunRemote

• Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and documentation through an HR platform. • Review between 20 and 100 applications per role, filtering based on screening responses and CVs. • Conduct an average of 15 to 20 brief phone interviews per day during peak hiring periods. • Schedule and conduct Zoom interviews, typically 3 to 5 per day during high-volume hiring. • Coordinate handover of successful candidates to the in-house training team. • Communicate regularly with General Managers across multiple store locations to address staffing needs, shift gaps, and sick calls. • Monitor daily staff reports, including clock-ins, absences, late arrivals, and probation status. • Maintain trackers and documentation for over 200 employees, most of whom are part-time or students. • Respond to urgent staffing requirements with flexibility and efficiency. • Collaborate with a second Human Resources Assistant to divide responsibilities across geographic store groups. • Ensure accurate and consistent documentation and reporting across all HR processes. • Assisting in the off-boarding process when employees leave the organisation.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably within the hospitality or other customer-facing industry.
  • Strong experience handling high-volume recruitment and ability to manage large volume of calls and applications.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence conducting phone screenings.
  • Comfortable handling last-minute staffing changes and urgent hiring needs.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple roles and urgent hiring needs simultaneously.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and remote communication tools.
  • A proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Friendly and approachable personality with strong stakeholder management skills.
