Role Description The Strategic Communications Officer develops and helps implement strategies and tactics to maximize communication impact and earned media for UCS issues, experts, and products. This position leads the coordination of program and campaign team communications; is responsible for ensuring a steady drumbeat of activities are completed that advance goals across a variety of channels including digital, print, and multimedia; and balances and prioritizes overall communications work in ways that best advance campaign goals and needs. Role Description The State Activism Coordinator is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) employee responsible for the direct mobilization, development, and management of activists within an assigned state. This role serves as the primary field representative of the Activism Department, working directly with Minute Men, dues-paying members, campus chapters, and community chapters to advance organizational priorities and Advocacy objectives. The State Activism Coordinator reports directly to the Activism Director.
