Regional Service Director

• Responsible for managing and leading the business in the assigned geography (West) • Focuses on profitably growing Core Lab’s market share in the United States through effective leadership of district service teams • Implementation and installation of Abbott solutions at new client sites • Leading the Technical Application Specialist team to develop correlation and method comparison studies for the Abbott assays • Provide proactive and reactive service to all customers to ensure we meet and exceed customer up-time expectations • Implements and executes Area and Regional Service and Support Strategy, service budget and resource planning • Execute strategy to drive efficiency of the field service teams to improve first pass fix rates, reduction of parts cost, and reduction of down-time events by leveraging our predictive tools and processes • Maintain and drive customer centric culture to ensure customer retention and satisfaction and improved renewal rates • Demonstrated ability to lead executive level conversations at the c-suite with clients and internally • Establish strategies and actions to drive profitability improvements • Ensure customer retention and satisfaction and improved renewal rates • Lead and manage technical service team leaders to ensure strategy execution and goal achievement standardization and harmonization of service tools and processes • Anticipate market trends and environmental forces and implement the necessary changes to meet customer needs • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, guidelines and regulations • Responsible for providing unique and differentiated customer experience and driving customer loyalty • Also responsible for achieving reference-ability and retaining base business • Plan and monitor Area Customer Service budget and capital expenditure according plan • Acquire, inspire and retain top talent to achieve a high level of competence; motivation and efficiency in order to secure sustainable profitability
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, biological science, or Medical Technologist or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working with IVD assay technology and prior laboratory management or clinical engineering experience preferred
- Experience managing people leaders is preferred
