• Support HistoSonics’ expanding commercialization as Director, Field Reimbursement • Build and lead the reimbursement commercial support team • Develop tools and processes that improve patient access and address reimbursement barriers • Act as a subject matter expert on billing, coding, and payment for hospitals and physicians • Ensure accurate and compliant information provision by the team • Develop internal reporting mechanisms and troubleshoot coverage issues • Engage stakeholders for reimbursement presentations • Maintain compliance with corporate policies and regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of field reimbursement management experience
- Experience with hospital medical device capital equipment
- Knowledge of Category III CPT codes, revenue cycle management, physician payment, Medicare and private payer payment models
- 3+ years of demonstrated team leadership experience
- Strategic thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment
- Thorough understanding of clinical and economic data, coding, coverage, and payment issues
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
