• Partner with Product, Engineering, and R&D teams across the entire product lifecycle to identify and address legal risks in areas including AI, IP, privacy, security, open source, and marketing. • Support commercialization efforts by advising Go-To-Market and Business Operations teams on product positioning, licensing models, and regulatory issues. • Monitor and interpret evolving laws related to AI, privacy, IP, and competition to ensure proactive compliance and business alignment. • Draft and maintain scalable processes, playbooks, and guidance to support consistent legal input across teams. • Assist in creation and management of privacy, security and AI governance frameworks and audits. • Operate independently and provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice that aligns with Synthesia’s risk appetite and goals.

• Lead and project-manage applications for VASP, MiCA, MSB, and other regional financial licenses globally. • Monitor, analyze, and brief the executive team on shifting global crypto regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FCA, MAS developments). • Partner closely with the Compliance team to translate regulatory requirements into concrete operational policies and audit-ready workflows.

Role Description The Associate General Counsel will be a key partner to the General Counsel across three areas: - Managing a growing portfolio of revenue contracts - Supporting the legal needs of new and existing business lines - Leading legal due diligence on acquisitions This role is designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and can operate as a trusted legal advisor across a variety of contexts. • Draft, review, negotiate and close a wide variety of commercial contracts with the company’s clients, strategic partners and vendors • Work closely with business partners in Sales, Finance, Ethics & Compliance, Intellectual Property, Service Delivery and other teams within Rimini Street to successfully close transactions in a manner consistent with the company’s policies and best interests • Provide other legal services and advice to the company as needed
