Corporate Counsel
Rimini Street
• Draft, review, negotiate and close a wide variety of commercial contracts with the company’s clients, strategic partners and vendors • Work closely with business partners in Sales, Finance, Ethics & Compliance, Intellectual Property, Service Delivery and other teams within Rimini Street to successfully close transactions in a manner consistent with the company’s policies and best interests • Provide other legal services and advice to the company as needed
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a commercial transactions attorney in private practice, in-house, or preferably a mix of both
- Exceptional written and verbal communications abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound judgment and decision-making
- Ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience supporting an internal sales organization and commercial deal process
- Experience advising on artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other emerging technology issues in the context of commercial transactions, technology contracting, or product counseling
- Experience handling intellectual property and technology-related issues
- Experience working for a tech or tech-adjacent company
- Graduate of an accredited American law school and currently licensed to practice law in the employee’s state of residence
