About The Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Senior Accounts Officer to play a key role within our finance team in Brisbane. In this role, you will: - Be a subject matter expert in client and matter management, billing, and practice management financial systems and processes, including active participation in training, enhancements and improvements - Oversee the integrity of our client data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enable seamless, efficient billing processes - Provide leadership, training and support to offshore transactional team members, including constructive feedback - Work in partnership with other administrative and client-facing teams to resolve client requests and deliver effective support across all office locations - Act as backup support for Trust Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and general accounts queries About You To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills, experience and attributes: - Proven experience in a professional services environment with high-volume transactional accounting - A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a strong commitment to service excellence - Well-developed knowledge of legal practice management systems, ideally Aderant - Confidence managing complex financial processes with accuracy, professionalism and sound commercial judgement - Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business - A high level of integrity, accountability and responsiveness in day-to-day work Why Join Us At HopgoodGanim, you are not just a small piece of a big machine; you're a valued, integral member of the team.
