About The Team As the engineering organization matures, the infrastructure teams are the key to Airwallex's ability to build a globally distributed platform, increase engineer productivity and ensure effective use of resources. Our teams work to provide the best possible experience for our developers and customers while providing a safe and secure environment to ensure that our financial solutions are always available. What You'll Do The Data Devops team is tasked with providing our data engineering and analytics teams with the right tools. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure. Additionally, you will create and enhance tooling and platforms to empower the engineering team with improved self-service capabilities. This role is based in Singapore. Responsibilities - Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers based in Singapore. - Design and implement a robust and scalable data infrastructure tailored to meet different needs of the engineering team. - Design and develop scalable software applications or systems that provide good self-service capabilities and ensure robust architecture and maintainability. - Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to identify and rectify errors, ensuring the software aligns with quality standards and functions effectively. - Perform ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for deployed software, implementing updates and enhancements to improve functionality and address evolving needs. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery. - Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies, programming languages, and development methodologies, enhancing the quality and efficiency of software solutions. Who You Are Qualifications - 6+ years of engineering experience. - Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps - Hands-on experience with at least one programming language. - Previous experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers. - Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors. - Bonus if you have Data streaming engineering experience. Prior experience working with data streaming platforms such as Kafka,Flink or Spark. Role Description The Senior Software Engineer - Workday PATT configures the Workday HRIS based on business requirements developed in partnership with cross-functional HR and technology teams and in support of organizational goals. You will partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to understand business needs and define system requirements. Additionally, you will configure Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time-Tracking components and business processes to support an associate experience. You will also partner with technology developers to offer business process subject matter expertise to develop technology integrations. The Senior Software Engineer - Workday PATT will understand the current and future business needs and identify and configure HR Systems to support those needs. This position partners with the Payroll and Benefits teams and other teams throughout Humana. You will work as part of the Workday systems business process configuration team within HR, engaging in standardized processes to ensure stability of our platforms through constant evolution.
