Senior IT Business Analyst
Circular Action Alliance
• Lead business needs analysis sessions to define and document solution requirements, detailed user stories, user personas, and acceptance criteria through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration. • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align state and national business requirements into cohesive technology solutions. • Conduct impact analysis, data flow mapping, and feasibility assessments for new functionality or regulatory updates. • Analyze and model current business processes, workflows, user flows, and data structures to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. • Participate in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. • Support developers and solution architects by identifying opportunities to leverage AI capabilities that enable scalable, value-driven solutions. • Participate in test planning, use case development, and solution validation activities to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements and maintain system integrity. • Collaborate with national and state business users to support solution design, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, upgrades, and fixes while supporting CAA enterprise processes and architecture. • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business requirements through user stories, solution delivery, testing and production deployment. • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts in accordance with IT PMO standards. • Support backlog prioritization and requirements refinement in partnership with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including user stories, requirements, test cases, and release notes. • Use Jira, Lucid chart and other IT PMO Tools for backlog management, progress tracking, and visualization of workflows and dependencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Requirements Management, or business-facing solution delivery experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting the design, delivery, and maintenance of solutions.
- Experience working across stakeholders in a completely remote organization is a plus.
- Experience in the Health Insurance or Supply Chain industries is a plus.
