POSITION OVERVIEW The Marketing & Communications Manager will drive the development and execution of AssistRx's integrated marketing and communications strategy. This role is responsible for elevating brand awareness, driving thought leadership and managing the company's presence across digital and in-person channels within the life sciences industry. The manager will directly supervise the marketing & communications specialist and oversee relationships with external agencies, vendors and freelancers to ensure cohesive, high-quality output across all initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy and Leadership - Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy aligned with company objectives, commercial growth priorities and revenue targets. - Lead, mentor and manage the marketing & communications specialist, providing ongoing guidance, project oversight and performance feedback. - Define KPIs and measurement frameworks; deliver regular reporting on marketing performance and campaign results to senior leadership. - Partner cross-functionally with business development, sales and product teams to align messaging, support go-to-market initiatives and advance pipeline development and client engagement strategies. - Manage project timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery of marketing programs. - Source, onboard and manage external agencies and vendors to supplement team capacity and specialized expertise as needed. Thought Leadership and Executive Communications - Drive the company's thought leadership program by identifying strategic opportunities to position AssistRx executives and subject matter experts as credible industry voices. - Support executive communications, including the development of presentations, messaging frameworks and industry commentary. - Develop editorial calendars and oversee production of thought leadership content, including bylined articles, white papers, speaking proposals and industry commentary. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with life sciences industry publications, media contacts and conference organizations. Conference and Event Presence - Own the company's conference and event strategy, including evaluation and selection of sponsorships, speaking engagements and trade show participation. - Partner with internal stakeholders to develop event messaging, booth assets, presentation materials and logistics plans. - Manage pre- and post-event communications strategies, including lead follow-up and nurture campaigns. Content Marketing, Digital Assets and Sales Enablement - Lead content marketing strategy and oversee creation of case studies, white papers, email campaigns, blog posts and other digital marketing assets that support demand generation and sales enablement. - Direct social media strategy, ensuring consistent brand voice, audience engagement and measurable growth. - Oversee website content; manage updates to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with SEO best practices. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Required - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field. - 5 to 7 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, with demonstrated expertise in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries strongly preferred. - Proven track record of developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing programs from strategy through execution, including in complex, matrixed organizations. - Experience managing external agencies, vendors and/or direct reports. - Excellent writing skills, with a strong emphasis on and mastery of AP style. - Experience supporting executive visibility and thought leadership platforms. - Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform; experience with CRM and analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Google Analytics. - Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social media management tools. - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools. - Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B marketing dynamics. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred - Experience marketing specialty pharmacy, patient access, patient support services or pharmaceutical commercialization solutions. - Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal for website content management. - Change management or organizational transformation experience.
