Role Description As the Director, Content & Editorial Strategy, you will define and lead Conduent’s B2B content vision across our Commercial portfolio. This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping how we communicate our value proposition across channels, formats, and every stage of the buyer journey. You will oversee content strategy, editorial governance, social media narrative, and team development while ensuring all content reflects a clear, differentiated market position and drives measurable business outcomes. This role will also play a key role in elevating the organization’s content capabilities and establishing best practices across the enterprise. Responsibilities - Content Strategy & Leadership - Define and execute a comprehensive B2B content strategy aligned with business growth priorities, target industries, and buyer personas. - Position content as a strategic driver of demand generation, pipeline growth, and brand differentiation. - Lead integrated content planning across campaigns, solutions, events, and ongoing marketing programs. - Ensure content aligns with every stage of the buyer journey, from awareness through conversion and expansion. - Content Development & Editorial Oversight - Provide strategic direction and quality oversight for: - Thought leadership and executive perspectives - Client success stories and case studies - Solution marketing and sales enablement content - Website and digital experiences - Ensure messaging is customer-focused, differentiated, and outcome-oriented. - Social Media & Executive Narrative - Lead editorial strategy and narrative development across social media channels. - Develop and enhance executive thought leadership platforms and social presence. - Partner with Digital Marketing on content distribution, paid promotion strategies, and performance optimization. - Establish governance, standards, and playbooks to ensure consistency and quality. - Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner closely with Solution Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Sales teams. - Serve as the central content authority across the organization. - Drive alignment around messaging, positioning, and integrated content execution. - Editorial Governance & Performance - Establish and maintain enterprise editorial standards, voice, and tone. - Ensure executive-level quality and consistency across all content channels. - Define and monitor KPIs tied to engagement, conversion, and pipeline impact. - Utilize analytics and insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and ROI. - Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop content and social media professionals. - Build scalable content processes, frameworks, and governance models. - Promote content excellence through training, coaching, and best-practice development. Qualifications - 10+ years of B2B content strategy, editorial leadership, or content marketing experience. - Experience within enterprise services, technology services, business process outsourcing, or related industries preferred. - Demonstrated success in building content programs that drive pipeline growth and market differentiation. - Experience leading content teams and cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations. - Expertise across thought leadership, case studies, digital content, sales enablement, and social media. - Strong experience developing executive thought leadership and market-facing narratives. - Exceptional storytelling, editorial judgment, writing, and communication skills. - Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both executive and hands-on levels. - Strong analytical capabilities with experience measuring and optimizing content performance.
