Junior Lawyer – Asset Unblocking

• Analyze court decisions and notices related to seizures and freezes of funds • Draft petitions, responses and requests for unblocking based on legal grounds and supporting documentation • Operate and monitor judicial systems such as Sisbajud, Renajud, Infojud, among others • Manage critical deadlines and take preventive action to avoid financial losses to the company • Record and update legal systems with data on freezes and the measures taken • Communicate with the finance department and other impacted areas to coordinate actions and submit documentation • Support the management of managerial reports on freezes and unblocks with critical analysis of results • Participate in the review of internal procedures aimed at preventing improper freezes • Attend hearings or provide technical oral arguments when necessary to secure the release of funds • Contribute suggestions for continuous improvement of internal workflows and control of legal-financial risk

Job Requirements

Role Description This role can either be based in our Delhi, Bangalore, Pune offices or remotely in India. The Managing Counsel, APAC will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters with a focus on corporate governance and commercial matters.
