Legal Field Client Manager
RELX
• Own and manage all renewal activity for assigned AMLAW, Small Law, and Academic accounts • Execute proactive account plans designed to secure renewals, mitigate risk, and drive long-term retention • Lead renewal conversations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations in coordination with internal stakeholders • Identify expansion opportunities including additional seats, practice group adoption, and cross-campus deployment • Increase platform usage and engagement across assigned accounts through proactive outreach and strategic touchpoints • Develop adoption plans tailored to practice areas such as corporate, securities, capital markets, M&A, and governance • Deliver customized training sessions, workshops, and webinars to drive deeper platform utilization • Monitor account health metrics and usage trends to identify both risk and opportunity • Develop and promote programs that highlight SEC trends, transactional market insights, and drafting best practices using Intelligize • Conduct on-site and virtual presentations for attorneys, knowledge management teams, and academic faculty • Support academic accounts with classroom demonstrations and research instruction • Partner with marketing and product teams to align educational content with current regulatory and transactional trends • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including practice group leaders, securities partners, KM directors, librarians, deans, faculty, and firm administrators • Navigate complex law firm structures and academic institutions to expand influence and increase subscription value • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on leveraging market data and precedent analytics to support client work • Maintain accurate pipeline, renewal forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce • Leverage sales enablement tools (e.g., Gong, Seismic, Outreach) to drive engagement strategy • Provide structured client feedback to Product and Leadership teams to inform roadmap and market positioning • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to maximize client lifetime value
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred
- Significant experience in B2B SaaS, legal technology, or professional services sales
- Demonstrated success managing renewals and expanding complex accounts, particularly within AMLAW or professional services environments
- Strong executive presence with the ability to present to partners, faculty, C-suite stakeholders, and knowledge leaders
- Experience conducting client trainings or CLE programs preferred
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close renewals in a consultative, relationship-driven environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Gong, Seismic, Outreach)
- Ability to travel up to 40% (including day and overnight travel)
