Role Description The Vice President, Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s global communications strategy to enhance brand reputation, drive employee engagement, and support business objectives. This role oversees all aspects of corporate communications, including: - Media relations - Executive communications - Internal communications - Crisis and issues management - Thought leadership Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the VP will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, HR, legal, and investor relations to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all audiences and channels. What you will do - Define and lead the global corporate communications strategy aligned with the company’s mission, values, and business goals. - Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on communications matters, including reputation management, media engagement, and crisis response. - Lead global media relations efforts, including proactive storytelling, press releases, media outreach, and relationship building with key journalists and outlets. - Oversee executive communications, including speechwriting, presentations, and thought leadership content for key leaders. - Lead internal communication to foster employee engagement, alignment, and culture through effective messaging and storytelling. - Develop and implement crisis communication plans and serve as a key leader during issues management and reputational risk scenarios. - Partner with Investor Relations and Legal to ensure alignment on financial communications and regulatory disclosures. - Monitor and analyze media coverage, public sentiment, and communication effectiveness to inform strategy and improve outcomes. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. - 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, with a strong background in enterprise-level corporate communications, public relations, or related fields, ideally within B2B technology or SaaS environments. - Proven ability to define and lead enterprise-level corporate narrative, positioning, and strategic communications aligned to business growth and market priorities. - Demonstrated experience advising C-suite executives and influencing senior stakeholders across complex, high-growth organizations. - Deep expertise in global media relations, reputation management, and proactive storytelling across multiple audiences and channels. - Strong understanding of public company communications, including regulatory considerations and financial communications alignment. - Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment internally and externally. - Proven leadership capability with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams. - Analytical and data-informed mindset, with experience measuring communication effectiveness and translating insights into action. - Strategic and creative thinker who can balance long-term vision with disciplined execution.
