Project Manager, Laboratory Operations

Role Description NeoGenomics is looking for a Project Manager to support the Laboratory Operations team who wants to learn to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday – Friday, day shift. As a Project Manager you will lead multidisciplinary/multi-site activities with demonstrated experience and expertise in determining project objectives, organizing and arranging resources, ensuring smooth pace, and on-time delivery of assigned projects. - Define, plan, implement, and report on project goals and deliverables. - Use advanced interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills to provide ongoing guidance, communication, and collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams keeping all contributors engaged, motivated, and in alignment. - Works productively and efficiently to achieve company and departmental goals. - Completes individual objectives as assigned and meets agreed upon deadlines. - Provide quality service to the Company’s internal and external customers. - Communicates effectively with all levels of staff. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. - PMP or CBAP certification are a plus but not required. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management leadership required. Experience in clinical lab, biotech, or pharma is highly desirable. - Must have held project management-specific titles with strategic project leadership duties that included project design, planning, oversight, and reporting. - Track record that includes defining, coordinating, and tracking the technical and operational moving parts and the various functional areas to keep all contributors and stakeholders well informed and in alignment to maintain a cohesive effort to achieve deliverables. - A successful track record updating senior leadership and other project stakeholders through presentations, reports, and use of PM tools to optimize project coordination, communication, and resource management. - Ability to travel occasionally as projects dictate.
