• Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes and real estate litigation • Making appearances in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings • Reviewing incoming litigation and developing case strategy • Drafting documents and conducting settlement negotiations • Manage case load of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors • Appear in court and argue motions necessary to the successful completion of both routine and contested foreclosure, eviction, title disputes, HOA/COA disputes and other matters • Communicate with clients regularly for updates and case resolution • Analyze loan files, title reports and other client documents • Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses
Job Requirements
- J.D. degree, licensed in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
- Minimum 2 years relevant Litigation experience
- Minimum 2 years motion practice experience
- Minimum 2 years courtroom experience
- Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law
- Knowledge of Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules
- Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property

As our Global Billing Coordinator, you will be required to: - Successfully work within Envoy’s order management and billing systems to deliver accurate invoices to customers on a timely basis, including reviewing invoices for accuracy while managing relationships with a growing list of clients that may require customer-specific invoice options. - Manage invoice adjustments and/or credits that are to be applied to customer accounts; coordinate unique customer needs for invoices and account statements. - Utilize and maintain third-party billing websites for invoice submission and collections outreach. - Manage emails coming to the accounts receivable inbox. - Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts on the external customer and internal business side (case managers) to understand billing and payments experience for Envoy customers. - Reach out to customers on overdue balances to ensure timely payment of invoices and assist in resolving invoicing questions from customers; leverage customer needs, Envoy’s products, and systems to identify and proactively address drivers of non-payment. - Responsible for cash-related activities including application of cash receipts to open invoices, cash reconciliations, and detailed cash tracking. - Drive resolution on billing and payment problems by troubleshooting issues faced, understanding root cause, and interfacing with Finance, Customer Experience, and Account Management teams on driving quick and efficient resolution. - Regularly coordinate with the accounting team to ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and timely; assist with any reconciliations or analysis on customer billings, collections, or trending. - Recommend and help formulate policies, procedures, and system enhancements to improve invoicing and collection operations. - Support finance team with ad hoc projects.
