• Job entails managing all administrative tasks associated with the legal process of Georgia judicial foreclosures. • These tasks generally include drafting complaints, responding to correspondence and updating client systems. • The position requires substantial coordination with other legal assistants and attorneys in multi-disciplinary team environment. • Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all clients’ systems. • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction. • Drafting and proofreading legal documents as required. • Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere. • Providing regular and timely client status updates, as well as continual follow-up on outstanding documents and or services. • Coordination with title contacts to complete outstanding tasks such as recordings and retrieval of missing documents. • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Assist department Management with monitoring and progressing certain high touch client portfolios • Assist Management in monitoring MyWork and Client System Workloads • Create and distribute various reports both internally and externally • Work with team members, attorneys, and Management to ensure the department is meeting clients/investor SLAs • Monitor and digest Incoming Client Directives to ensure departmental compliance • Assist Management as needed in dissemination to relevant staff • Work with Management, Ops, and IT throughout change management initiatives • Collaborate with Management in creating portfolio success strategies • Assist Management as needed with comprehensive and thorough scorecard rebuttal creation • Assist in creating templates for regular rebuttals • Assist Management with monitoring deadlines • Assist Management with financial quality control • Assist Management with developing processes and procedures • Work with Management to create training tools for new employees • Assist Management with Remediation Projects and Portfolio Scrubs • Interface with clients and promote positive client relations • Proactively monitor sensitive portfolios and client systems • Communicate with others in a professional and personable manner • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all team members
• Draft and prepare litigation documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery responses, notices, and correspondence • E-file documents in Ohio and Kentucky courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines • Coordinate hearings, schedule court appearances, and maintain attorney calendars • Serve as a primary point of contact between attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel on assigned matters • Review and respond to client system messages and inquiries daily • Assist with case progression through judgment, sale, and post-sale litigation activity • Maintain organized, accurate electronic case files and ensure budgets and client requirements are met
• Initial intake and analysis on files and generate strategy and budget within a 24-hour time frame • Draft civil litigation documents ranging from discovery to dispositive motions and client correspondence • Make court appearances across California and provide same-day client updates • Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles for compliance purposes
• Handle the processing of all requests from borrowers and clients for payoff and reinstatement quotes. • Review incoming payoff or reinstatement funds and ensure that funds are sent to the client via the required overnight process within 24 hours of receipt of funds. • Handle client requests for fees and costs quotes. • Review file for invoicing, create line items and attach backup documents • Effectively communicate with clients and borrowers to ensure excellent customer service and accuracy of requests. • Create, manage and execute on fee approvals within internal case management system and all client systems. • Appropriately maintain and process sensitive and confidential information. • Will perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Act as a liaison between clients, Litigation Operations, and Attorneys. • Monitor and complete client-site messages and tasks. • Manage loan-related processes in client systems to meet required standards and timelines. • Use reports and system workflows to identify and escalate issues. • Update cases timely in internal and client systems throughout foreclosure and litigation stages. • Manage document processes, including monitoring, re-projecting, and completion. • Communicate with clients, staff, and internal departments; respond to inquiries and system messages professionally. • Upload/download documents, maintain accurate notes, and complete all required client system tasks. • Monitor loan portfolios, scorecards, and monthly reporting; attend client performance calls. • Keep managers and team leads informed of issues or concerns.

• Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes and real estate litigation • Manage case load of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors • Appear in court and argue motions necessary to the successful completion of both routine and contested foreclosure, eviction, title curative/ title disputes, HOA/COA issues and other matters • Communicate with clients regularly for updates and case resolution • Analyze loan files, title reports and other client documents. Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses. Attend trials • Legal research and writing are required

These tasks generally include editing and preparing correspondence, advertisements/postings, and other legal documents, maintaining paper and electronic files, updating internal systems & client systems, fielding calls and correspondence from clients, borrowers, and other outside parties. The position requires substantial coordination with other legal assistants and attorneys in multi-disciplinary team environment. This is a position that can either be hybrid (in Roswell or Birmingham) or remote based on experience level. RESPONSIBILITIES · Drafting, preparing, and formatting memoranda, correspondence, advertisements/postings, deeds, assignments, and various other legal documents. · Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of outgoing mail, messenger deliveries, overnight deliveries, and facsimiles. · Fielding calls from borrowers, clients, courts, and other outside parties in a courteous and effective manner. · Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence. · Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients. · Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all client systems. · Reviewing title reports and recorded documents. · Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction. · Proofreading the legal documents as required. · Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere. · Providing regular and timely client status updates, as well as continual follow-up on outstanding documents and or services. Coordination with title contacts to complete outstanding tasks such as recordings and retrieval of missing documents. · Assisting with check down of closed, active, and hold files including forwarding invoices of foreclosures fees and costs, creating chronologies, and retrieving documents. · Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed. EDUCATION & SKILLS · Minimum associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or at least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant. · Default law firm experience is preferred but not required. · Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service. · Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties. · Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner. · Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change. · Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes. · High-level proficiency in MS Office suite. · Proficiency in internet research activities. · Familiarity with case and document management software · Experience with client systems such as ICE/BKFS, Clairfire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred. · Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure preferred. · Experience with review of title reports and identifying chain of title issues preferred. · Ability to proficiently operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone is required.
