About the role We are seeking a Branch Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing branch operations and administration. This role also involves leading the Assistant Account Executive team and supporting the Branch Manager in the day to day running of the branch network. As the second in command, you will have decision-making authority and contribute to the branch's overall success. A Day in the Life - Lead strategies to drive growth and operational efficiency within the branch - Manage daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment - Oversee operational metrics, including: debtor & credit management, branch compliance and quality assurance, client service and engagement standards, client retention strategies, shared ownership of the branch expense budget, leave management (annual, personal, and long service leave) - Act as the 2IC to the Branch Manager, deputising in their absence - Contribute to annual business planning and budgeting processes - Analyse and monitor sales and operational results, taking action to meet performance targets - Ensure broking staff maximise fee and commission income with agreed exception processes in place - Provide cross-functional support by holding working knowledge of other roles within the branch - Support employee development, succession planning, and staff engagement initiatives - Administer HR policies and manage underperformance or cultural issues in collaboration with HR - Foster a positive working culture and maintain strong relationships within the Gallagher community Skills and experience - 3+ experience in a similar role - Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships at all levels - Strong technical knowledge of insurance lines and associated legislation - Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in computer literacy and familiarity with industry trends - Leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on driving results and accountability - Tier 2 or Tier 1 qualification highly regarded What you'll get We believe that high performance requires high support. Role Description The Route Operations Leader is responsible for leading FEG route-based operations across an assigned region. This role provides operational leadership, technical direction, problem-solving support, route performance oversight, warehouse accountability, partner support, and people leadership for multiple Route Technical Managers, Route Technicians, and regional warehouse operations associates. The Route Operations Leader is a peer to the Territory Operations Leader and partners closely with the Vice President of Field Operations, TOLs, and cross-functional leaders where additional support is needed.
