Role Description Bushel is seeking a Product Manager, Grain to lead product strategy, discovery, requirements, and delivery for Grain-focused workflows within Bushel's Agribusiness product suite. This role will own ERP-integrated experiences that support grain origination, offers, contracts, scale tickets, settlements, commodity balances, and other critical farmer-facing and internal operational workflows. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Integrations, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and customers, this person will identify opportunities, define product requirements, and deliver solutions that reduce manual effort, increase operational visibility, and help agribusiness teams work more efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker with experience managing complex products and workflows. They are skilled at customer discovery, use data to inform decision-making, and are comfortable iterating quickly to find the best solution. They can effectively collaborate with technical teams on APIs, data flows, ERP integrations, edge cases, and operational constraints while balancing customer needs with business objectives. This individual should also be highly proficient in leveraging AI-first tools to accelerate product discovery, design exploration, prototyping, workflow documentation, requirements development, and solution validation, enabling faster learning and more effective product outcomes. Qualifications - 3+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, Product Design, Business Analyst, or related product experience. - 3+ years of experience working in the technology industry, preferably with SaaS, workflow, data-heavy, or integration-based products. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile delivery, product discovery, and iterative product development. - Experience writing product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow documentation, and customer-facing product materials. - Ability to quickly understand, map, and document complex operational workflows. - Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand APIs, data movement, dependencies, edge cases, and integration constraints. - Experience using AI tools to improve product management, research, design, prototyping, documentation, analysis, or requirements processes. - Strong customer discovery, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Agricultural industry experience or background preferred. Requirements - Own product discovery, requirements, and prioritization for Grain-focused Agribusiness workflows, including offers, contracts, scale tickets, settlements, commodity balances, and related ERP-integrated processes. - Develop deep domain expertise in grain origination, merchandising, elevator operations, and farmer-facing grain experiences. - Partner with Engineering, Integrations, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and customers to define and improve ERP-connected product experiences. - Translate complex grain and ERP workflows into clear product requirements, workflow diagrams, prototypes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation. - Use AI-first tools to accelerate discovery, workflow mapping, design exploration, prototyping, user story creation, acceptance criteria, PRDs, release notes, and customer-facing validation materials. - Leverage AI to analyze customer feedback, internal data, support trends, and workflow friction to inform prioritization and product decisions. - Define product requirements for ERP-integrated workflows, including data mapping, sync behavior, permissions, error states, edge cases, operational visibility, and customer-specific implementation needs. - Collaborate with technical teams to understand APIs, data flows, integration constraints, dependencies, and the impact of ERP behavior on the customer experience. - Talk to customers and internal stakeholders to understand market needs, operational challenges, and opportunities within Grain workflows. - Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve visibility, increase workflow efficiency, and create more value across Bushel’s Agribusiness product suite. - Think critically about risks, tradeoffs, prioritization, customer impact, and business outcomes. - Monitor product metrics, customer feedback, support trends, and adoption data to assess product success and identify areas for improvement. - Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Project Management to support go-to-market strategy and execution. - Evangelize the product vision, roadmap, and customer value to internal stakeholders and customers. - Act as a subject matter expert for Grain-focused Agribusiness products and ERP-integrated workflows. - Other duties as assigned.
