Job Description
Marketing Manager
Joko
• Own US CRM content end-to-end: You will write, produce, and ship localized email, push, and in-app content across the full customer journey (transactional, lifecycle, and promotional). You will work hand-in-hand with the global CRM team so every US-bound message feels native, culturally on point, and sent at the right moment. You will lean on AI tools to scale production without losing sharpness or brand voice. • Ship the full asset, not just the copy: You will design and adapt email visuals to match the content you create. This is not a copy-only role; you own the email end-to-end, from message to template. • Drive segmentation and targeting for US users: You will define behavioral and transactional segmentation strategies so the right users hear from us at the right time. You will partner with the central Content Factory and Ops teams to test, iterate, and improve performance. • Localize the US campaign calendar and merchandising: You will work with the Campaign & Merchandising team to adapt our campaign roadmap to the US retail calendar (Memorial Day, Back to School, Black Friday, and other key moments). You will tailor product highlights and merchandising logic to US shopping habits, so what we show feels native, not translated. • Be the voice of the US consumer inside Joko: You will bring sharp, opinionated insight on American shopping behavior and cultural nuance back to the Marketing team, informing not just your own work, but how the whole team thinks about the market as we scale internationally.
Job Requirements
- Experience: You have 3 to 5 years in consumer marketing, ideally in a high-growth tech or e-commerce environment, with a track record of owning CRM content end-to-end.
- US market fluency: You have significant professional or lived experience in the US. You understand American consumer behavior, retail cycles, and cultural nuances at a level that translation alone cannot reach.
- Content craft across channels: You write and ship content for email, push, in-app, and web that actually resonates — not generic copy, but messaging that converts and feels native to the audience.
- AI-native: You use tools like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity daily to scale content production while keeping it sharp and on-brand. You have strong opinions about what works and what does not.
- Analytical mindset: You read campaign data fluently and translate it into smart, opinionated marketing decisions — not just reports.
- Hands-on with the modern marketing stack: You are comfortable in CRM platforms like Customer.io or Braze, no-code site tools like Webflow, and design tools like Figma. You do not wait for someone else to ship.
- Autonomous and well-organized: You are a self-starter who can own multiple workstreams in parallel without dropping the ball. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
- Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Benefits
- Flexible remote : If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget.
- Work from anywhere : Want to spend a month in Italy while working? You can work from most countries in the world for up to 3 months per year.
- Top-market compensation
- Equity for everyone with the chance to own a piece of what you build
- Half-day each week dedicated to leveling up with AI by exploring new tools, iterating hard, and sharpening your skills
- Yearly offsite in amazing locations and budget for team-building events & monthly in-person gatherings
- Contribution to your ClassPass subscription
- 8-week leave paid 100% for the second parent
