Regional Sales Consultant

• Retain and expand assigned accounts in their geographic area. • Serve as the key day-to-day customer contact. • Promote and sell Signode’s high-performance packaging system used in multiple industries. • Manage existing customers as end-to-end seller. • Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing all Signode products and services. • Owns renewal and expansion selling (cross-sell and up-sell). • Create account plans for top accounts and presents to customer representatives. • Provides industry insight to peers, including product management, product development and equipment sales teams. • Collaborate with internal teams on account management, projects, and department initiatives. • Participate in Training & Development opportunities in order to continually improve, upgrade performance, experience career development and advancement.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Sales or similar field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in consultative sales experience, industrial sales experience is a must.
  • Must live in the Houston Metro, TX area; travel overnight – up to 50%.
  • Knowledge of Signode’s products and applications to sell solutions that meet the customers need.
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing aptitude.
  • Ability to use a CRM and read dashboards on PowerBi, with general MS Office proficiency.
  • Strong technology skills with social media knowledge to drive current customers and prospect engagement.
