The Opportunity: We are looking to hire a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to sell Event Production, Creative and Planning services to new and existing corporate customers. We plan and produce large scale events for large companies (i.e. Fortune 1000) across all industries. In this role, you are the front line of our growth. You will manage a high volume of inbound leads that come through web inquiries, phone calls, and live chats. You’ll work on selling events ranging from small executive meetings, to a mid sized annual conference. Your goal is to qualify these opportunities, design a technical solution that brings the client’s vision to life, and convert them into long-term partners. The SAE is responsible for: • High Volume of Sales: You’ll be taking 5–10 new inbound opportunities daily. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment where juggling multiple events is exciting for you. • Consultative Sales: You will advise clients on the best solution (AV, staging, interactivity) for their specific event needs. You’ll meet via zoom and lead the client through the sales process, sometimes pulling in other resources to close deals. • Full Sales Cycle: Own the process from the initial "Hello" to the final signed contract. • Strategic Growth: Identify which clients have the potential to become $250k accounts through building strong relationships. Who You Are • Experience requirements - You have at least 3–5 years of sales experience, specifically within the event production or AV industry. • Responsive - You are highly organized and disciplined. You are on top of your pipeline and guide leads through the sales process. • Thrives in building relationships - You can build trust quickly over Zoom and are able to explain AV solutions to all different buyers. • Culture fit - You lead with kindness, commitment, and humility. Your Impact: The First Year • Within 3 Months: Expert in our Netsuite CRM, learn the MT services catalog, and begin taking up to 10 inbound opportunities a day. • Within 6 Months: Consistently exceed sales goals, maintain a 25% close rate, and successfully onboard multiple new clients. • Within 12 Months: Achieve a portfolio of $1M+ in services and accurately forecast your business 6–9 months out.
