We’re looking for Expansion Account Executives who are motivated to grow existing customer relationships by identifying real business challenges and delivering meaningful solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact As an Expansion Account Executive, you will partner with existing Nextiva customers to understand how their business operates, uncover opportunities for improvement, and introduce solutions that drive measurable outcomes. This is a proactive, ownership-driven role. Success comes from consistent outreach, curiosity, and the ability to connect customer challenges to the value of Nextiva’s AI-powered platform. What You’ll Do - Drive Expansion Revenue: Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an existing SMB customer base - Proactive Outreach: Engage customers consistently through calls, email, SMS, and other channels to uncover new opportunities - Lead with Discovery: Listen first to understand business challenges, then align solutions to real customer needs - Deliver Value-Focused Demos: Showcase how solutions solve specific business problems and drive outcomes - Own the Sales Cycle: Manage pipeline, forecasting, and follow-up with discipline using Salesforce - Operate with Accountability: Take full ownership of your performance, activity, and results - Continuously Improve: Actively build product knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of AI trends to better serve customers - Position AI-Powered Solutions: Clearly articulate the value of Nextiva’s platform, including AI-driven capabilities that improve efficiency and customer experience What Success Looks Like - Consistently meeting or exceeding expansion revenue targets - Maintaining a disciplined, well-managed pipeline and follow-up cadence - Demonstrating strong business acumen in identifying and solving customer challenges - Effectively incorporating AI tools into your workflow to improve productivity and outcomes - Building trusted relationships with customers through professionalism and reliability (this is a role where you will interface directly with customers over video) About You You are someone who takes ownership of your work, seeks continuous improvement, and brings energy and resilience to a high-activity sales environment. - 2+ years' experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles in a fast-paced environment - Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals (revenue, retention, or activity-based metrics) - Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts, advanced English fluency required (spoken & written) - Comfortable with outbound engagement and proactive customer communication - Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail - Coachable and open to feedback, with a track record of applying it - Self-motivated and resourceful, you take initiative to solve problems and develop your skills - Interest in AI and technology, with a willingness to continuously learn and apply new tools - Nice to Have: - Bachelor's degree in business or a related field - Experience selling SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or related technologies - Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms - Familiarity with qualification frameworks (BANT / MEDDPICC) - Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) in a professional setting - Prior experience supporting US based customers in a B2B environment Who Thrives in This Role - You take initiative and don’t wait for direction to move work forward - You follow through on commitments and take accountability for results - You stay resilient and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented mindset - You are motivated by growth, both in your performance and your career - You prioritize learning and actively invest in your own development This role is well-suited for individuals early in their career, making a career transition, or looking for an opportunity where effort, consistency, and growth mindset directly translate into success.
