Role Description We're looking for a Senior Data Analytics Consultant who can bring clarity to complexity. Our clients have no shortage of data. They have websites generating traffic, ad campaigns running across multiple platforms, CRMs collecting customer information, and dashboards that may or may not be telling the full story. What they need is someone who can connect the dots, build reliable measurement frameworks, and turn fragmented information into decision-making tools. This is not a reporting role. We're looking for someone who understands the entire analytics ecosystem—from data collection and governance to dashboard design and business insights. Someone who can audit a setup, identify what's missing, implement the right tracking structure, and build reporting environments that clients actually use. You'll work alongside strategists, marketers, account teams, developers, and client stakeholders to create analytics infrastructures that are accurate, scalable, and easy to understand. Some engagements will involve building systems from scratch; others will require untangling years of accumulated technical debt. This is a freelance consulting role with recurring project opportunities. Some mandates will be strategic and advisory in nature; others will require hands-on implementation across analytics, reporting, and data management platforms. What You'll Own - Analytics Architecture: You design and implement measurement frameworks that provide a reliable foundation for reporting and decision-making. - Tracking & Data Collection: You audit, configure, and maintain analytics implementations across websites and digital properties, ensuring data is collected accurately and consistently. - Dashboard Development: You build dashboards that surface meaningful insights, not just metrics. Reports should help clients understand performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. - Platform Integration: You connect data sources across analytics, advertising, CRM, and marketing platforms to create unified reporting environments. - Data Governance: You establish naming conventions, documentation standards, tracking plans, and processes that keep data clean and trustworthy over time. - Analytics Consulting: You help clients understand what they're measuring, why it matters, and where opportunities exist to improve performance. - Technical Troubleshooting: You identify gaps, inconsistencies, and implementation issues before they become reporting problems. - Internal Collaboration: You work closely with developers, strategists, marketers, and project teams to ensure analytics requirements are considered throughout the lifecycle of a project. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience designing and implementing analytics solutions for websites, marketing campaigns, and digital products - Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - Strong expertise in Looker Studio and dashboard development - Experience integrating data from advertising platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and other business tools - Strong understanding of event tracking, conversion measurement, attribution, and reporting methodologies - Experience conducting analytics audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations - Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy - Comfortable working independently and providing strategic recommendations directly to clients Nice-to-Haves - Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) - Experience with BigQuery and data warehousing environments - Knowledge of SQL and data transformation workflows - Experience integrating platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Shopify, or similar ecosystems - Experience building executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks - Agency or consulting experience working across multiple clients and industries What Success Looks Like - Clients trust their data because you've eliminated uncertainty around how it's collected, organized, and reported. - Dashboards become decision-making tools, not screenshots people glance at once a month. - Stakeholders can answer important business questions without digging through multiple platforms. - Tracking issues are identified before they impact reporting. - Data sources that once lived in silos are connected and working together. - Analytics setups are documented, scalable, and easy for teams to maintain. - Clients understand not only what happened, but why it happened and what to do next. - When a new campaign, platform, or website launches, measurement is already part of the plan—not an afterthought. Engagement Details - Freelance / contract-based - Project-based engagements with potential for recurring consulting work - Remote-friendly - Flexible workload based on project requirements - Availability for occasional discovery sessions, audits, implementation projects, and ongoing analytics support
