Role Description The Climate Solutions Americas strategy team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy and Market Intelligence Lead . This high visibility role will be responsible for tracking, aggregating, reporting, and summarizing applicable market statistics, economic data, and industry trends. Additionally, this role collaborates with business unit leadership to identify and communicate growth opportunities and leads development of long-range strategy and annual operating business plans. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities - Maintain an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through monitoring industry reports, market research, and relevant macroeconomic data, most notably from S&P IHS, Moody’s, AIA, Dodge Construction, and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). - Thoroughly and systematically analyze key industry trends, the general social economic and political environment, as well as legal and regulatory issues that will or may impact Carrier’s North America residential and light commercial business units. - Provide market insights and reports to senior management and various internal management teams to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making. - Lead assigned strategic pillars of the five-year strategy and annual operating business plan development and coordinate and lead all review meetings through project delivery. - Support business development activities that will contribute to transformational growth for Carrier’s North America residential and light commercial business units. - Lead select connected ecosystem workstreams to support the realization of Carrier’s connected ecosystem ambitions. - Coordinate and manage special projects and presentations on a regular basis and serve as a focal point for the organization. - Aggressively identify opportunities to leverage and deploy AI tools across the business as a differentiator, including the utilization of Microsoft 365 Copilot. - Build strong relationships across the business and work with diverse cross-functional teams to deliver on market intelligence and strategy projects. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree. - 2+ years of experience developing executive-level communications and presentations. - 3+ years of advanced knowledge and work in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - 3+ years of proven analytics skills, with the ability to transform data into meaningful and actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Data Science/Analytics. - Experience with business intelligence, analytics and data visualization tools such as Power BI, think-cell, and Tableau. - Effective communication – Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly, succinctly, and accurately to a variety of audiences both orally and through written material. - Innovative problem-solving – Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions. - Deliver results – Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset. - Customer focus – Passion for customers including ability to act quickly, solve problems and exceed expectations. - An ability to work collaboratively and deliver results both in-person and through virtual collaboration environments leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Teams. - FP&A or P&L forecasting experience. Travel - Domestic travel less than 10%. Location - Palm Beach Gardens (FL) / Indianapolis (IN) / or remote in the USA. Relocation - Not offered for this role. Pay Range - The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
