Role Description Elastic is searching for a Sr Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand the business and drive strategy within our General Business segment. As we continue on our exciting journey as a high-growth software organization. - Regional Sales Managers are focused on growing revenue through new customer acquisition, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics. - This is a highly-visible and cross-functional role where you’ll inspire others and lead by example. What You Will Be Doing - Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape. - Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by ‘leading from the front and driving Elastic’s sales methodology. - Actively foster an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement. - Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems. - Assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required. - Partnering across Elastic’s leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience. Qualifications - Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast-paced and technical client acquisition-driven business. - Strong SaaS sales leadership. - Executive-level relationships with key accounts. - Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment. - Experience in scaling a high-velocity sales function. Bonus Points - Experience working within an Open Source model. Compensation - Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). - On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable). - The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is: - $226,500 — $358,300 USD. - The typical starting salary range for this role is: - $135,900 — $215,100 USD. - The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is: - $90,600 — $143,300 USD. Role Description This is your chance to be part of a Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) that is offering owned, managed, and franchised Hilton hotels world-class revenue management talent and tools. As a Revenue Manager - Premier, you will support the team that's helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. On the Premier team reporting to Franchised Full Service, Lifestyle, and Luxury Assistant Director, you will work on projects such as the rollout of advanced Revenue Management solutions. What you'll do during a typical day: - Enact an appropriate Revenue Management strategy, including the pricing for all portfolio hotels assigned. - Formulate a plan to improve hotel performance, communicate that plan to the hotel team, and implement the changes in relevant systems, including OnQ R&I, and GRO. - Send targeted communications describing relevant strategy and pricing changes. - Lead weekly Commercial Strategy Meetings, including discussions on future opportunities such as booking pace, performance statistics, and other hotel-specific goals. - Ad-hoc projects including market research and systems audits. - Forecast future performance, identifying trends and acting upon opportunities. How you'll collaborate with others: - Build a positive relationship with your assigned portfolio of hotels and revenue management partners. - Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams and Distribution and E-Commerce teams to learn insights and better guide your hotel's positioning in different channels. - Partner with operations, front office, and other revenue management team partners to understand capacity constraints and optimize inventory management. Qualifications - Two (2) years of work experience in Revenue Management. - In-depth knowledge of industry analytical reports such as STAR and shop reports. - Experience forecasting or validating system forecasts of hotel room revenue weekly and monthly, and managing Hotel Rates and Inventory. - Proficient in analyzing and explaining statistical data to develop strategies and generate a course of action. - Proficient in Revenue Management systems, hotel property management systems, and industry-related reports. - Travel up to 15% annually.
