Vice President – Independent Agent Operations and Strategy

• Lead the execution of strategic programs and transformation initiatives that strengthen centralized support, operational effectiveness, and innovation across the Independent Agent organization. • Establish and oversee centrally led IA support functions, including operational coordination, performance management, analytics, governance, and field support models. • Partner with senior leaders to translate enterprise and channel priorities into actionable strategies, operating plans, and execution roadmaps that drive growth and efficiency. • Own IA go-to-market planning and execution in partnership with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Distribution, ensuring field readiness and aligned delivery. • Oversee the design and deployment of tools, technology, and performance frameworks that optimize IA leadership effectiveness and distribution outcomes. • Design and evolve IA operating structures, processes, and role clarity in partnership with enterprise functional teams to support scalability and performance. • Implement methods to evaluate training and enablement effectiveness, leveraging insights and feedback loops to continuously improve impact and ROI. • Lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams, ensuring clear prioritization, effective resource allocation, and focus on the highest-value initiatives. • Ensure disciplined operational execution, financial stewardship, vendor partnership oversight, and compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in the Independent Agent property and casualty insurance space (Required)
- Demonstrated success in delivering against financial performance goals
- Skilled in analyzing market dynamics, defining strategic direction, and translating strategy into actionable plans
- Deep experience in sales strategy development and execution
- 4 years Bachelor's Degree (Strongly Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
