Field Applications Engineer – Robotics

Intel Corporation

• Drive new design-win opportunities and provide co-engineering support to achieve production revenue • Leverage deep product portfolio knowledge to accelerate sales in established and emerging robotics markets • Cultivate strategic relationships with OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners • Develop compelling product demonstrations and assist in design reviews during customer visits • Analyze technical data to resolve customer issues and provide feedback to internal teams • Achieve annual sales targets of $10M+ through strategic account management • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in the robotics industry
  • Technical sales experience with enterprise/OEM customers
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets (10M+ annual quota preferred)
  • Working directly with Robotics OEMs in design scenarios
  • Background in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related technology sectors
  • MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience with Intel products and technologies
  • Existing relationships within the robotics OEM ecosystem
  • Background in systems integration or solution selling
  • International business experience
  • Strong understanding of robotics architectures, sensors, actuators, and control systems
  • Knowledge of edge computing, AI/ML inference, and real-time processing requirements
  • Familiarity with robotics software frameworks (ROS, ROS2, etc.)
  • Understanding of industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or service robotics markets
  • Experience with Intel or competitive processor architectures.
