• Lead the Communications, Data & Industrial business lines through design services and project estimating for construction and major improvements to critical infrastructure elements • Develop and implement design engineering and estimating processes and work management structures that are repeatable, scalable, and support positive client outcomes • Ensure Estimators use best practices, standards, and procedures to determine the cost of a service or product • Manage, coach, and develop estimating resources to ensure tracking and delivery of project estimates in an accurate and consistent manner • Develop and implement strategic pricing methodology in collaboration with Service Operations and Sales leadership • Develop, implement, manage & maintain estimating tools • Collaborate with internal resources to ensure the most current cost structure is maintained • Develop and maintain cost history on all project scopes • Advise and assist in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies for project bids • Lead creation of detailed installation specifications that meet client standards and requirements • Is a Subject Matter Expert on client playbooks • Develop procedure to ensure only the current versions of client playbooks and requirements are referenced • Analyze standards, construction drawings, project plans, and site survey data to gain a thorough understanding of projects • Review Project bids and estimates accuracy and cost discrepancies • Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm necessary take-offs • Interface with clients on bid-walks and via conference calls • Present technical and complex information in a simplified manner to different stakeholders • Drive a positive work environment by providing leadership, direction, mentorship and motivation to team members • Grow, develop, and lead a winning team through effective performance management, hiring, training, and retention • All other duties as assigned by manager
• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to customer’s equipment including flooded and sealed batteries, chargers and DC power distribution equipment (cable trays, battery racks and power cables). • Interacts with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company. • Develops and conducts training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including both team members and customers. • Performs Preventative Maintenance inspections of customers’ batteries, chargers, battery handling equipment, and battery changing/charging area and records data. • Replaces defective parts, reassembles battery, and fuses lead parts with gas torch. • Determines specific gravity of solution. Waters, washes, cleans, and neutralizes customers’ batteries at customers' location. • Installs equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications. • Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. • Maintains records of performance reports. • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer. • Occasionally download battery and charger data via a monitoring device and use the information to repair or correct battery/charger problems in accordance with the customer’s operation. • Occasionally report to local EnerSys Service Center for mandatory training, inventory, parts pick up/drop off, etc.
• Oversee all aspects of multiple projects from start to finish, developing and executing detailed project schedules and monitoring on-time delivery, revenue, KPIs, and margin quality • Meet with customers to review project scope and timeline and create customer estimates and quotes, as needed • Maintain a close interface with the customer, project management office, and service group stakeholders, and other departments, regarding schedules, quality, and standards; schedule meetings, prepare materials, and draft minutes • Manage all service representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for compliance to quality, safety, cost, and timeliness requirements • Write method of procedure and scope of work project documents • Approve maintenance operation procedure project documents for region • Create and transmit all kickoff and closeout documentation, floor plans, schematics, and specifications relevant to projects • Collaborate with design professionals, subject matter experts and other resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all projects • Manage project change orders, and timely, accurate invoicing • Communicate change orders to the customer and/or management in a timely manner • Understand and implement customers’ standards of safety, installation quality, processes and communication methods • Understand and enforce Enersys standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics, and processes • Track all time, expenses, and report accurately, using the approved methods • Cultivate customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities

• Oversee the team responsible for developing accurate labor, material, and subcontractor cost estimates for service-based projects • Ensure that all estimates align with operational capabilities, established pricing strategies, and project profitability goals • Coordinate with sales, project management, and field operations to ensure estimates accurately reflect real-world execution conditions and scope requirements • Maintain estimating tools and historical data libraries to support team efficiency and consistency • Supervise and mentor a team of service estimators, providing technical guidance and performance coaching • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of estimates, proposals, and pre-sale documentation to meet project deadlines • Review and approve team estimates for accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with margin targets • Support the maintenance of pricing databases, including labor rates, materials, and subcontractor costs • Partner with sales and operations to clarify project scope, identifying potential constraints or value-add opportunities • Utilize and refine estimating templates and workflows to reduce turnaround time and maintain consistency across the team • Manage and report on KPIs associated with the delivery and accuracy of estimates and proposals • Ensure team estimates account for safety, logistics, and execution risks • Assist with proposal creation and participate in customer bid reviews as required.
