Senior Accountant

Pair Team

• Prepare for and support in GAAP financial audit • Support in resolving key issues, and identifying opportunities that drive consistent, timely, and accurate revenue reporting and reconciliations • Support month end close, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting activities • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, perform monthly and quarterly flux analyses for the balance sheet and income statement • Assist with payroll accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, and period end close activities; ensure accurate recording of compensation expenses and related liabilities in compliance with GAAP and company policies • Support JE for intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities; ensure accurate eliminations and timely settlement • Identify opportunities to improve financial and accounting processes, including systems, tools, software, and workflows • Build and develop AP process for month end close activities, including accrual process and aged payable review

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting experience ideally with some experience in a healthcare organization and/or high-growth startup
  • Experience working with GAAP accounting standards
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong Accounts Payable expertise, including invoice processing, vendor management, purchasing workflows, and process development
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects and tasks
  • Experience supporting building processes, procedures, and workflows that enable sustainable business scaling
  • Ownership mindset – own driving results for the mission, business, and customer experience
  • Strong collaboration skills with thought partners from engineering, design, data science, and operations
  • Strong desire to work in an early stage startup environment that is fast paced, complex, and has minimal barriers to make decisions (no “red tape”)
  • Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder
