Job Description
Senior Product Engineer
Belle, LLC
Role Description We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who operates as a true product partner. You'll own significant areas of our product, make architectural decisions, and influence what we build—not just how. A core pillar of this role is data and analytics: you'll own the infrastructure, models, and reporting that make Belle a genuinely KPI-driven organization. - Lead the design and delivery of major features across our Ruby on Rails web app and React Native mobile app. - Own data and analytics as a core part of the role—build and maintain the reporting, dashboards, and underlying data models the entire organization relies on to make decisions. - Partner with product and clinical leadership to shape roadmap and translate operational strategy into technical direction. - Own architecture and technical decisions for your areas; balance speed, scalability, and maintainability. - Set the standard for how the team uses AI coding tools to ship faster without sacrificing quality. - Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and design discussion. - Identify high-leverage opportunities in product, operations, and data—and drive them. - Help shape engineering practices, standards, and culture as we scale. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software. - Deep experience with React (or React Native) and Ruby on Rails—required. - Strong command of SQL and relational databases—you can model data well, write performant queries, and reason about schema design. - A track record of owning features or products end to end, including the product thinking behind them. - Comfort operating with incomplete information, making decisions without extensive process, and building systems that may support 10x growth over the next few years. - You're an early adopter and power user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) and can show others how to get the most out of them. - Strong product judgment: you've influenced what gets built, killed bad ideas early, and measured impact after shipping. - A builder at heart—you make things on your own time because you can't help it. - Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team standards. - Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements - Bonus if You Have: - Metabase or similar BI tooling—you'll likely be building in it regularly. - Inertia.js experience. - Healthcare, digital health, Medicare, or value-based care experience. - Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments. Benefits - Competitive compensation based on experience. - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits. - 401k. - PTO, Sick, Wellness leave, and Paid Holidays. - Opportunity for significant career growth and expansion of responsibilities. - Ability to reshape an industry and protect lives. One Concrete Ask Send us something you've built—ideally something you own beyond your day job. A side project, an open-source contribution, a tool that scratched your own itch. Tell us what it does, the most interesting technical or product decision you made, and how AI coding tools fit into how you work today. We'd rather see one thing you're proud of than a long list of past employers.

Belle, LLCHealthcare is shifting homeward—and seniors deserve better. Belle is redefining care by embedding preventive services directly in the lives of Medicare members. By joining us now, you’ll not only enjoy a work-life balance rare in clinical practice but also help build the future of senior care.
Role Description We're looking for a Product Engineer who thinks like a product person, not just a ticket-closer. You'll own features end to end: understanding the problem, shaping the solution, shipping it, and watching how it performs in the real world. You care about why you're building something and what happens after it's live—not just whether the code compiles. This is a strong fit for a recent grad or early-career engineer who has already been building things on their own and wants to do work that visibly improves patients' lives. What You'll Do - Build and ship full-stack features across our Ruby on Rails web app and React Native mobile app - Work directly with product, clinical operations, and care teams to turn fuzzy operational problems into shipped software - Take ownership of features end to end—from scoping through deployment and iteration - Use AI coding tools aggressively to move fast and raise your output and quality - Build internal tools, automations, and integrations that make our operations more efficient - Dig into product and operational data to understand whether what you built actually worked - Participate in sprint planning, code review, testing, and rollouts Qualifications - 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships and serious personal projects count) - Working experience with React (or React Native) and Ruby on Rails—these are our core stack and required - Solid SQL fundamentals and comfort working with relational databases - Evidence that you're a builder: you've shipped real projects on your own, not just coursework - You're an early adopter and heavy user of AI coding tools—Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar - Strong product instincts: you ask "should we build this?" and "did it work?", not just "how do I build this?" - Clear communicator who's comfortable working across engineering and non-engineering teams - Genuine curiosity and a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment Requirements - Bonus if You Have: - Metabase (or similar BI/analytics tooling) experience - Inertia.js experience - Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and automation - Interest in or exposure to healthcare, digital health, or value-based care One Concrete Ask Along with your application, send us something you've built and shipped on your own—a link to a live project, a GitHub repo, a tool you made for yourself, anything real. In a few sentences, tell us what it does, why you built it, and how you used AI coding tools in the process. This matters more to us than your résumé. Benefits - Competitive compensation based on experience - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits - 401k - PTO, Sick, Wellness leave, and Paid Holidays - Opportunity for significant career growth and expansion of responsibilities - Ability to reshape an industry and protect lives
