This Engineer will be responsible to lead the enterprise performance engineering efforts to ensure system scalability, stability, reliability, and responsiveness across distributed cloud and hybrid environments. Responsible for designing and executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies while identifying bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure. • Partner closely with our US validation partners, some of our most important partnerships. • Ensure that they receive sterling service through upgrades and close monitoring. • Align closely with them, with our supporting partners, and with other end-customers. • Analyze complex datasets and identify/report deviations with our high priority validation partners. • Perform rigorous analysis in close collaboration with the Cube Success team in Norway. • Conduct advanced root cause analysis on system failures and performance issues. • Analyze system logs, data sets, and diagnostic outputs to identify trends and anomalies. • Set up complex analysis using tools as e.g., PowerBI. • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex technical systems and equipment. • Diagnose and resolve system issues in the field, ensuring minimal customer downtime. • Provide technical support during deployments, upgrades, and service interventions. • Collaborate with partners, customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation/upgrading and operation. • Regular travel to customer sites is expected.

Role Description The Remote Commissioning Engineer executes remote and shop-based configuration, commissioning, testing, and validation activities for audiovisual, unified communications, and integrated technology systems. The role ensures systems are properly configured, thoroughly tested, and documented before deployment while providing technical expertise and remote support to field engineers, service teams, and project stakeholders. The Remote Commissioning Engineer serves as a subject matter expert for assigned technologies and contributes to efficient project delivery through proactive troubleshooting, documentation, and risk identification. Roles and Responsibilities - Execute remote and shop-based commissioning activities for AV, UC, control, DSP, and collaboration systems. - Configure systems according to approved designs, standards, and project requirements. - Perform functional testing, integration testing, validation, and re-testing of systems prior to deployment. - Provide subject matter expertise and advanced technical support for assigned technologies. - Support field engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. - Coordinate and execute remote smart-hands deployments with onsite personnel. - Document configurations, test results, commissioning activities, and system changes. - Create and maintain commissioning records, handoff documentation, and technical reports. - Identify technical risks, design gaps, and system issues and escalate appropriately. - Support service teams with scoped troubleshooting and technical assistance. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities. - Follow established commissioning standards, workflows, and documentation procedures. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s Degree - 1-3 years experience - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in live remote support environments. - Ability to interpret system drawings, schematics, narratives, and technical documentation. - Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Collaboration, Zoom Rooms, or similar UC platforms. - Knowledge of AV signal flow, networking fundamentals, and system integration principles. - Experience with DSP platforms such as Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, or equivalent technologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. - Excellent organizational and documentation skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Ability to identify and escalate technical risks appropriately. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms. - Willingness to work flexible schedules when required to support global projects. - Experience supporting enterprise conferencing environments. - Experience with commissioning and validation processes. - Experience providing remote support for field engineers and smart-hand resources.
