Role Description As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the scope, schedule, cost, quality and client satisfaction of a project throughout its entire lifecycle, from Initiating through closing phases. Within our Electronic Security Solutions (ESS) team, we go beyond traditional security, engineering integrated electronic security systems including IP-based access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems that safeguard people, assets and operations. The Design Engineer 2– Electronic Security is a key member of the ESS Project Engineering team, supporting the design and delivery of electronic security systems across the project lifecycle—from initial concept through construction documentation and delivery support. Role Description The Senior Design Engineer (DE) is a key member of the Design Engineering group within the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team, serving as lead engineer on commercial design projects. The DE supports the entire project lifecycle—from initial sales concepts through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Acting as a technical resource, the DE ensures client and system requirements are met and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The role is supported by Solutions Architects and the Director of Engineering, with guidance provided by the Director of ESS Engineering. The DE will hold both primary and supporting responsibilities on complex ESS projects and reports directly to the Director of ESS Engineering. Role Description The role of the Diversified Cisco Alliance Manager (DCAM) is focused on driving strategic growth and partnership initiatives within the Cisco Alliance ecosystem and portfolio. Role Description The Senior Director of Information and Cybersecurity serves as the senior-most cybersecurity leader within the internal IT organization, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Role Description The Sales Engineer (SE) will collaborate with Account Executives and provide the technical expertise during the pre-sales process for opportunity types such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Design-Build, and Design Consulting. The SE will be responsible for completion of all technical deliverables required for each opportunity including, but not limited to: - Complete bill of materials with pricing - Labor estimate - Scope of work The SE will be expected to accompany Account Executives to in-person and virtual Customer meetings as needed. For Design-Build and Design Consulting opportunities, the SE will collaborate with Account Executives to determine and understand our Customers' existing workflows, business/operational needs, and technology/collaboration strategy in order to design solutions that best meet their functional requirements now and into the foreseeable future with a focus on end user experience. Responsibilities - Establish and maintain positive and effective lines of communication with Account Executives and our Customers. - Attend in-person and/or virtual discovery meetings to identify our Customers' technology and business requirements. - Attend site surveys when necessary to obtain design space details. - Ability to conceptualize, define, and explain our technology solutions to Customers with varying levels of technical expertise. - Validate solutions for standard RFP/RFQ and Consultant Design-Bid-Build opportunities. - Review RFPs in detail and identify areas of concern for review by Account Executive or Director of Sales Engineering. - Submit technical RFIs during the bid process as needed. - Review architectural, electrical, and mechanical documentation related to infrastructure and equipment installation requirements. - Provide consistent quality deliverables to the Account Executives to be included in proposals: - Detailed Equipment Bill of Materials with Pricing - Miscellaneous Materials Estimate - Detailed Labor Estimate - Technical Scope of Work/Bid Response/Functional Summary (as applicable) - Provide plan markups in Bluebeam and/or CAD to specify/coordinate infrastructure requirements for Architect/Customer and for internal handoff to Design Engineer after contract award. - Participate in internal kick-off meetings with the assigned Project Team after contract award and provide knowledge transfer to assigned Design Engineer. - Maintain communication with Design Engineer and review Drawing Package submittals prior to system implementation to ensure design intent is met and discuss issues/changes/etc. - Participate in vendor product demonstrations/trainings in local office and/or remotely when hosted in other territory office locations. - Maintain relationship with manufacturer representatives and vendor partners. Complexity The SE will receive new Engineering Support Request assignments through the Sales Support Group which consists of non-technical and technical personnel that will work as a team to support the Account Executives on larger opportunities. For multi-million dollar opportunities, an additional SE or Subject Matter Expert (SME) may be requested to join the team in order to formalize a complete and thorough bid response. The SE will also maintain communication with Technical Operations to ensure specified equipment and solutions designed are supported. Decision Making Authority The SE is responsible for specifying the equipment and services required for a complete solution. The SE is encouraged to recommend strategies for differentiating Diversified from competition in competitive situations. Technical reviews by management will occur on a case-by-case basis and almost always for high profile and/or multi-million-dollar opportunities. Physical Working Environment Work will be performed within normal office conditions and/or home office depending on the location of SE. Role Description The Solutions Architect (SA) is a subject matter expert (SME) and technology thought leader who contributes their deep knowledge of process and technology to the core team for each Sports Media & Entertainment (M&E) project. The SA provides direction and advice through the project life cycle from sales concept to design development, construction drawings to implementation support. As the technical thought leader on a project team, the SA is instrumental in the determination and execution of client and system requirements and will collaborate with Sports M&E SMEs and project teams as required. The SA is also responsible for mentoring other members of the design engineering staff. Reporting to the Sports Director of Engineering, the SA’s project assignments are determined by Engineering Leadership based on enterprise-wide demands. NOTE: This is a virtual role day to day, but required periodic travel to customer & project sites. up to 30% of the time, anywhere in the US. What You’ll Do - Contributes to complex engagements and works directly with clients and project teams to develop basis of design, budgets, timelines, and manage expectations. - Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements. - Provide technical expertise and coordination information to support the base building tasks performed by others, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions. - Monitor development of projects the Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting documentation. - Develop detailed design documentation strategy based on established engineering standard practices. Complexity The Solutions Architect works with the Sports Engineering Director on resource assignment. This role is primarily billable in a post-sales capacity, though there are times when the SA will work on presales estimation and design efforts. Decision Making Authority As the technical thought leader on a project, the SA is responsible for vetting products and making detailed equipment recommendations. The SA has the authority to recommend changes in scope as well as programming and commissioning activities to enhance project success. The SA is also responsible for reviewing drawing packages produced by project teams. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. Work will normally be performed within normal office conditions and/or home office depending on location of SA. On occasions the employee may be exposed to construction site conditions. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites.
