Job Description

Director of Commercial Strategy

Qualified Health PBC

Role Description Every C-suite in healthcare is trying to bridge the gap between AI in theory and AI in practice, and Qualified Health is a part of that bridge. This role exists to close that gap by leading commercial strategy and partnership execution in a way that models the world we’re building for America’s largest health systems: adopting, deploying, and scaling operations with AI. As Director of Commercial Strategy, you will partner directly with the leadership team to modernize, refine, and build our highest-priority commercial workflows. You will be in the room with health system CEOs, CFOs, and CTOs, structuring partnerships; and your positioning, process, and tools will allow us to build the business case for transformational AI investments, and defining a category in real time. This is a builder’s role with direct commercial impact. What You’ll Do - Enterprise Partnership Strategy & Execution - Drive complex, multi-stakeholder partnership cycles end-to-end, from initial engagement through signed, seven-figure agreements. - Lead executive workshops, strategic presentations, and C-suite discussions that position Qualified Health as the long-term AI partner for health system leaders. - Build the business cases, financial models, and value frameworks that health system CEOs, CFOs, and CTOs require to approve transformational investments. - Negotiate and structure agreements that align with the company’s strategic objectives. - Navigate legal, procurement, and clinical governance processes across large, matrixed health system organizations. - Commercial Strategy & Market Positioning - Translate our strategy into a clear approach and modern infrastructure to support how Qualified Health brings its platform to market across academic medical centers, large regional systems, and integrated delivery networks. - Define and refine competitive positioning, messaging, pricing strategy, and partnership models for a market being created in real time. - Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform product development and go-to-market decisions. - Identify whitespace opportunities and develop new partnership models that expand the company’s reach and impact. - Tackle unstructured problems: dissect them, pull signal from noise, synthesize actionable insights, and partner with the team to execute solutions with direct, quantifiable impact. - Cross-Functional Leadership & External Representation - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams to execute partnership strategies and translate partner needs into product priorities. - Represent Qualified Health at high-level industry events, conferences, and in direct executive relationships with health system leaders. - Become an expert on the Qualified Health technology platform and lead prospects through live demonstrations of it. - Build and improve the commercial infrastructure (CRM workflows, pipeline analytics, operating cadences, partnership collateral) that will scale with the company through its next phase of growth. - Contribute to long-term strategic planning, ensuring commercial activities align with the company’s vision and goals. Qualifications - 2–6 years of experience at a top-tier institution: management consulting (MBB or equivalent), investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a high-growth technology company with a demanding, performance-driven culture. - Strong ownership mindset: independent, with a bias to action. - Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across large organizations. - Thrive in high-stakes situations: calm under pressure, able to prioritize masterfully, and energized by ambiguity. - Passion for pulling signal through noise and an internal drive to create clarity where none exists. - Demonstrated ability to build processes, programs, or functions from scratch. - Excited about deal-making and the strategic complexity of enterprise partnerships. - Desire and readiness to do the best work of your career. - Healthcare experience is a plus but not required. Benefits - Competitive base salary and equity compensation. - Willingness to travel domestically as required to support partnerships and represent the company at industry events. Company Description Qualified Health is the leading healthcare AI company partnering with health systems to deploy end-to-end AI platforms that deliver measurable financial and clinical outcomes. We have real momentum, having just closed our Series B fundraise supported by incredible investors. Our partnerships span some of the most recognized health systems in the country, and our revenue trajectory is ambitious and attainable.
