Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling and managing existing customer accounts, with a strong focus on non-mag BHA rental business. This role requires a strategic approach to not only maintain but also expand our customer base among directional providers, and to introduce and sell our downhole drilling technologies to operators. This role is based in Calgary, AB. - Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for non-mag BHA rentals and downhole drilling technologies. - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with directional drilling providers and operators. - Understand customer needs and requirements to promote our products and services effectively. - Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking. - Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services. - Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. - Collaborate with team members in operations, engineering, accounting, and leadership to deliver results and grow business. - Provide detailed reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to the management team. - Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board. Qualifications - This is a business development role with emphasis on account management. The role requires daily in person contact with clients to be successful. - Motivated self-starter, comfortable in fast-paced environment. - Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role within the oil and gas industry, specifically related to BHA rental and downhole drilling technologies. - Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry dynamics and market trends in the Permian Basin with the ability to communicate this information internally to other stakeholders. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build rapport and foster meaningful relationships with customers and team members at both the field and office level. - Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and or Salesforce a major plus. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. - Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed.
