Regional Controller
RESA Power
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions in assigned region • Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget • Partner with site General Managers on budget questions and P&L statements • Manage all aspects of inventory costing, reviews, and reporting • Review P&Ls to ensure accurate monthly reporting of revenue and expenditures • Prepare monthly metrics, including utilization reports to support operations • Ensure compliance with GAAP • Support Corporate Office when necessary for cash collections, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Experience with project accounting, including percentage of completion revenue recognition methodology
- Experience with GAAP, FASB, accrual base accounting, purchase accounting, and tax filing requirements
- Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
- Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics/GP, and CRM
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
