We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Order Management (OMS) Technical Architect to lead technical strategy, solution design, and architecture for large-scale retail and supply chain implementations. This role requires strong domain expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to guide teams and clients through complex digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities: - Act as the technical subject matter expert on Salesforce Order Management (OMS) on client projects. - Understand and analyze the client's existing technology landscape. - Conduct workshops with client teams to gather requirements and define end‑to‑end implementation architecture. - Provide technical guidance to project delivery teams, product engineering teams, and clients. - Own all technical escalations throughout the project lifecycle. - Define the architecture vision and roadmap to support the client's enterprise transformation. - Create detailed solution architectures, including integration recommendations, API/microservices enablement, cloud migration, and more. - Mentor and guide delivery and engineering team members. - Develop interface documents and mappings to ensure proper OMS integration. - Oversee software development plans with a focus on quality and delivery efficiency. - Participate in design reviews with clients and internal project teams. - Manage development planning, including training, skills evolution, and resource needs. - Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in retail and supply chain. - Stay up to date with new OMS features and ensure released functionality works as expected. - Act as a key member of the delivery team during implementation, facilitating design and requirements phases. - Advise customers on supply chain best practices and ensure alignment with OMS capabilities with minimal customization. Requirements Requirements: - Experience working with Salesforce Order Management System (platform or integrations). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred. - Minimum of 3 years as a technical consultant or lead architect in supply chain systems or systems integration. - Proven experience in the retail industry with exposure to OMS, order fulfillment, and order management processes. - Strong plus: experience with Salesforce products such as Service Cloud or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for competitive benefits. Actual amounts will vary depending on overall profile, experience, and location.
