Job Description

Google Ads Specialist

Pearl

Role Description Our client is a lean, high-trust paid media agency that manages Google Ads across a portfolio of home improvement contractor accounts. They're hiring a Google Ads Specialist to build, launch, optimize, and QA campaigns with precision — turning founder-led strategy into flawless execution. The team is small and founder-led: strategy is owned at the top, and execution quality is everything. This is an execution role, not a strategy role. - Own end-to-end campaign setup across assigned accounts — targeting, geos, budgets, bids, ad copy, and extensions. - Implement and QA conversion tracking across Google Ads and GA4. - Monitor accounts daily, run A/B tests, and flag pacing and performance issues proactively. - Pull clean reports in Looker Studio. - Ensure campaigns go live error-free and perform against CPA and ROAS targets. Qualifications - 3–5 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally agency-side managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. - Proficiency in the Google Ads UI and Google Ads Editor to build campaigns end-to-end. - Hands-on experience implementing and QA-ing conversion tracking and attribution across Google Ads and GA4. - Ability to QA full campaign builds pre-launch. - Reporting fluency in Looker Studio (or equivalent). - Working command of paid media metrics — CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and Quality Score. - English proficiency at C1 (CEFR) for concise written and verbal reporting. Requirements - Google Tag Manager experience (tag configuration and troubleshooting) - Nice-to-Have. - GA4 advanced setup, Conversion API, or server-side tracking exposure - Nice-to-Have. - Home improvement, contractor, or local services vertical experience - Nice-to-Have. - Active Google Ads certifications - Nice-to-Have. Benefits - Competitive Salary: Based on experience and skills. - Remote Work: Fully remote—work from anywhere. - Team Incentives: Recognition for maintaining 100% CRM hygiene and on-time reporting. - Generous PTO: In accordance with company policy. - Health Coverage for PH-based talents: HMO coverage after 3 months for full-time employees. - Direct Mentorship: Guidance from international industry experts. - Learning & Development: Ongoing access to resources for professional growth. - Global Networking: Connect with professionals worldwide. Company Description Pearl works with the top 1% of candidates from around the world and connects them with the best startups in the US and EU. Our clients have raised over $5B in aggregate and are backed by companies like OpenAI, a16z, and Founders Fund. They're looking for the sharpest, hungriest candidates who they can consistently promote and work with over many years.
