The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in document control software. - Provide administrative support for construction project management. - Collect, enter, distribute, and track documents and records as needed. - Communicate document requirements and client standards to the project team. - Ensure the completeness and accuracy of both incoming and outgoing documents, adhering to proper file formatting. - Manage responses to submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and RFCs (Requests for Change) in a timely manner. - Monitor and track outstanding document responses, providing daily updates on status. - Attend project meetings and prepare detailed minutes for distribution. Qualifications - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficient in general office equipment and tasks, including filing and typing. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - Experienced in using document control software, such as MS SharePoint. - Advanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Office applications. - Understanding of general construction and engineering documents is an advantage. Role Description The Substation Engineer leads the engineering and design of high voltage electrical substation projects, guiding a multidisciplinary team that includes drafters, designers, and engineers. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. As the primary point of contact, you will liaise with clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities - Project Oversight: Direct and manage projects to achieve high standards of quality, adherence to schedules, and budget goals. Ensure timely completion by overseeing and coordinating all project activities. - Design Execution: Develop and update design documents, including one-line diagrams, electrical plans, and specifications. Use engineering software for tasks such as ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, load flow, and short circuit analysis. - Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with customers, project teams, and management to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, addressing any deviations promptly. - Standards Compliance: Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI) and utilize the document management system effectively. - Problem Solving: Identify potential project issues and provide solutions. Travel as required for project needs and perform additional duties as assigned. - Travel: Undertake short-term travel as required by project assignments. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution, with a preference for a focus on power systems. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage (230kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design. - Skills: - Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of high voltage electrical substation components, AC/DC fundamentals, and three-phase power systems. Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis tasks. - Design Skills: Ability to produce and interpret design documents and drawings necessary for project execution. - Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to supervise a technical team and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Software Proficiency: Competent in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications. - GIS: Familiarity with GIS is a plus.

Role Description The Structural Engineer will oversee structural design teams in delivering high-quality designs for a wide range of new construction, renovation, and redevelopment projects. This role will be focused on Power Delivery Projects such as Transmission Lines, Substations, and Switchyards. This role involves guiding the project team through all phases of design and construction, while adjusting structural plans as needed to meet budget limitations, design requirements, and client objectives. Responsibilities - Lead structural design efforts from conceptual development through final design, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements set by project managers. - Develop structural specifications and data sheets for packaged equipment based on project scope. - Prepare and manage Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), technical bid evaluations, and make informed purchase recommendations. - Review and analyze structural vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications. - Coordinate and communicate technical information between suppliers, clients, and cross-disciplinary engineering teams. - Collaborate with detailers and designers to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of structural designs. - Conduct quality reviews of production drawings across various projects to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. - Verify and implement required corrections using multiple CAD platforms, ensuring design integrity and consistency. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering with structural emphasis. - Minimum 8 years’ experience, working in a similar firm preferred – EPC Project experience is preferred. - Ability to prepare structural calculation sheets, detailed construction drawings, and corresponding AutoCAD files, including markups and coordination using Bluebeam. - Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA Foundation, RISA-3D, SAP, and familiarity with geotechnical/structural software (e.g., LPILE or similar). - A Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred but not required. - Working knowledge of structural design codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE7).
