Job Description
Senior/Lead Recruiter - Infrastructure
Fuse Energy
Role Description To accelerate this mission, we are looking for a Senior/Lead Recruiter (Infrastructure) to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our US footprint from the ground up, focusing on hiring across Grid Interconnection, Data Center Project Development, Land Acquisition, and High-Voltage/Substation Engineering. This is a real opportunity to join an ambitious startup at the forefront of the energy transition and help build the foundational workforce for a new kind of integrated energy infrastructure. - Develop tailored sourcing strategies to engage top-tier talent from major data center operators, renewable energy developers, and the power/grid sector. - Screen and assess candidates for both specialized technical excellence and cultural alignment. - Run high-velocity, high-quality hiring processes: drive pipeline activity, facilitate post-interview debriefs, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. - Negotiate offers and close world-class talent in highly competitive US infrastructure and energy markets. - Partner closely with hiring managers and department heads to deeply understand their technical requirements, hiring needs, and timelines. Qualifications - 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a heavy focus on technical or energy infrastructure in high-growth or startup environments. - Proven track record filling critical upstream roles, including Grid Interconnection, Data Center/Renewable Project Development, Land Acquisition, or High-Voltage/Substation Engineering. - Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, highly competitive engineering and infrastructure skill sets in the US market. - Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and candidates, acting as a trusted talent advisor rather than just a process manager. - Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organization, from technical engineering leads to executives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to compel and pitch experienced infrastructure professionals on a high-growth startup mission. - Experience with modern ATS tools, pipeline reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices to keep hiring velocity high. Benefits - Competitive salary - Biannual bonus scheme - Fully expensed tech to match your needs - Paid annual leave - Opportunity to work closely with senior business leaders and exposure to building a global energy business
