Job Description
Senior Software Engineer
Benchmark Analytics
• Own the technical architecture and quality of a defined product surface — including system design, code, tests, performance, and operational health of what ships. • Partner with your Product Owner as a trio; bring clarity on what’s feasible, what tradeoffs exist, and how to deliver scope on the timeline you’ve committed to, and push back substantively when specifications need refinement. • Build software using AI-augmented workflows as a core practice — drafting, reviewing, refactoring, testing, and documenting code with AI tools — and continuously raising your effectiveness with them. • Make architectural decisions and defend them — across data models, API design, integration patterns, and system tradeoffs; document your reasoning so others can build on it. • Mentor and develop the engineer you’re paired with — through code review, pairing, technical guidance, and modeling strong engineering practice. • Maintain production responsibility for your surface — including monitoring, incident response, performance, and the security posture appropriate to a platform serving regulated public sector customers. • Contribute to platform-wide engineering standards, tooling, and processes — not just your own surface. • Support enterprise sales and customer conversations with substantive technical depth when needed. • Write code that is correct, secure, maintainable, and tested — the AI accelerates you, but the work you ship is yours.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with significant time spent owning full-stack product features end to end.
- Strong production experience with Node.js, React, PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational database), and modern HTML/CSS.
- Production experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platform), CI/CD pipelines, and the operational practices required to run customer-facing systems reliably.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows; you already use AI tools daily in your professional work.
- Sound architectural judgment — you can reason through tradeoffs across data, API, and system design, and explain those tradeoffs clearly.
- Experience working in an agile or continuous-delivery environment as a senior IC.
- Strong written and verbal communication; you write code, comments, and documentation that others can build on.
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring or developing other engineers.
- Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information; you ask focused questions and move forward with sound judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Benefits
- A competitive salary and benefits package.
- Unlimited Paid Time Off.
- Ability to work in a fully remote environment (must be based in the U.S. and willing to work in Central Time Zone).
- Summer Half-Day Fridays.
- Freed Up Fridays during Spring, Fall, and Winter months to promote productivity and dedicated heads-down work time.
- Medical, dental, and vision plan offerings along with 401(k).
- Employer-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance.
- Other Voluntary Benefits include additional Life Insurance, Spouse Life Insurance, and Accident Insurance.
- The satisfaction that comes with being part of a solution that has real impact in the world.
- A diverse workforce and inclusive environment that embraces unique contributions and experiences.
- An empowered culture that encourages creativity and professional growth.

GTM Engineer
Pogo TechnologiesPriorities may shift quickly. Oftentimes, we're tackling very ambiguous problems that don't have clear-cut answers. At times, you'll need to build things in a day: we live and breathe a value called "Calculated Speed". We don't have structured management (yet!). We expect more than 9 to 5 - raw hours make an impact at our current stage. We trust each team member to create a flexible work schedule that allows them to be most productive while accommodating other priorities outside of work. We also strongly encourage time off to recharge the batteries: in addition to unlimited PTO, we've implemented a minimum 20 days vacation policy.
Role Description As the first GTM Engineer at Pogo, you'll partner with our Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to build AI-powered systems that compound revenue. You'll work on our enterprise AI SaaS product as both a builder and an operator: shipping code that drives pipeline and conversion. - Ship AI-powered workflows that scale our growth and sales motions as a competitive advantage. - Audit our existing GTM stack, identify the gaps and redundancies, and start shipping against them fast. - Embed with our sales and growth teams to turn their best plays into systems the whole org can run on. - Build internal tools and agents that replace manual workflows - lead routing, enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, content distribution, attribution. - Know when to reach for off-the-shelf tools and when to build something custom. - Partner closely with engineering and design to test new features, give feedback, and dogfood our own AI capabilities for GTM use cases. - Publish playbooks and internal guides so wins propagate across the team. Qualifications - Likely 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least some of that applied directly to GTM, growth, or revenue systems. - You're a heavy user of AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex and have shipped non-trivial things with them. - You've built with LLMs and AI agents - think RAG, evals, tool use, prompt engineering. - You're hands-on with the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot or Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly, etc.) and can navigate APIs, webhooks, and integrations fluently. - You have strong product and design taste - the internal tools you build should feel as polished as the product. - You think in systems and like turning messy operational problems into clean, automated ones. - You have real commercial instinct - you can sit in a sales call or read a growth dashboard and immediately see where leverage exists. - You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially when things are ambiguous. - You've built and maintained production systems used by real users (internal users count). Requirements - Bonus: Experience at early-stage startups or building your own products. - You've shipped AI agents that moved an actual revenue metric, not just demos. - Background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering before moving fully into building. Benefits - Ship real systems that get real usage and move real numbers - pipeline, conversion, retention. - Sit at the center of the company. Partner with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering. - Use the latest tech. Build with the latest coding tools, LLMs, and GTM platforms. - Move fast. Ship weekly and get rapid feedback from the teams using what you build. - As the first GTM Engineer at Pogo, you'll shape what this function looks like at Pogo as we scale.
